Not that you're worth having a serious discussion with at this point, but yeah, they said "we're tighter and you can't just decide to cut one of us, you're gone instead."  They decided that they don't exist to serve your butt-buddy Tyrion.  Good on them.  Your boy overplayed his hand and got called.

Also, lol @ editing out the word "delusional" in my quote.

I love how people with zero knowledge of the situation act like they do.  We'd informed Swamp weeks ago we would be leaving, but nice try.

@Phoenyx take notes, this is what "you can't fire me, I quit" actually looks like.

You have it backwards. In reality, it was "No, you're not quitting because I'm firing you!".

If we really want to be accurate, I think it's more like a board of shareholders. Now, I'm not sure about TFP, but it seems that the 2 main shareholders basically said, "Look guys, it's been real, but we want to go our separate ways" and the rest decide to make it look like they're the ones deciding to separate. I may have it slightly off, but it seems this is about right.

Tyrion made it clear in a Thalmar Radio event that Swamp would be downsizing after the war. I don't know if Tyrion planned to downsize his Swamp to just Immortals and TFP, or if it was just a matter of the others in Swamp not wanting to be part of the downsize. Regardless, my guess is that the rest of Sawmp felt it would be best to pre empt Tyrion's downsizing by creating their own public narrative on it. Or, to simplify a bit, "you can't fire me, I quit!" :-p.

The plan from the beginning was to leave Swamp, not to kick other AAs out of Swamp.

If you think TI was going to kick all 5 of these out by themselves, then you're more delusional than you've already proven yourself to be.  TI clearly underestimated the bonds the other alliances share.

TI was leaving, not planning to kick anyone out.

The situation would more aptly be described as "You can't quit, you're fired!"

That seems like kindof of a weird analogy to me lmao.

Alright. It wasn't exactly clear what Tyrion meant when he said that his Alliance was downsizing after the war, guess this is what he meant.

Yeah, but I think it's the most accurate one so far.

I'd love for you et al to fill us in then. I thought you were going to be posting more. If its a when-not-if situation, then I look forward to it.

I wasn't necessarily intending to, just trying to dispel any misinformation about the ordeal.  We'll have more to say about our future plans when those are further defined and ready.  But I will say this, TI/TFP did inform Swamp leadership of our intentions to leave post-war a couple weeks ago - they were caught off-guard and disappointed we'd made that decision and were frustrated by our lack of transparency/communication around and since that decision, which is understandable.  There's no reason to go into it further than that though.  I don't have anything bad to say about Swamp and certainly wouldn't do so publicly.  There's a lot of good people there and from my end, I'm happy to have worked with them and appreciate what we'd done together.

Thanks for the clarification. Now we can argue about real stuff instead of making up your back story :P
