SleepingNinja
Interstate System : The interstate system allows goods and materials to be transported throughout your nation with greater ease. Effects : 5% additional decrease to infrastructure price per city. Allows nations within the same continent to trade even under blockade. Cost/Reqs : Requires Civil Engineering & International Trade Center. 10,000 Aluminum, 10,000 Steel, 5000 Gasoline, $100,000,000. Just thought this up since I find it silly nations within the same continent can't trade under blockade and thought this was a fun solution which wouldn't entirely break or completely undervalue blockades, I'm also trying to keep in mind the future no-beige system. (Sorry if that's no longer a thing not really keeping up with dev stuff) Edited October 10, 2020 by PhantomThiefB dollar sign for clarity on cost.
Solomon Ben-David
Hm, this is an interesting idea. Though, I think that having it for the entire continent would nerf blockade too much, as alliances can choose one continent and then trade with each other. Maybe within 10 degrees from your center either way (i. e. longitude+latitude<=10 degrees if that makes sense). I think that'd be more balanced than the entire continent. Wiki Mod Dr Rush Posted October 10, 2020 Wiki Mod Share Posted October 10, 2020 Or we can not nerf the weakest unit in the game into the dirt? Also your now tying an rp element to gameplay after the fact, thats never a good idea. BTW, beige won't leave again until its replacement is ready. 1 1 Quote 23:38 Skable that's why we don't want Rose involved, so we can take the m all for ourselves 23:39 [] but Mensa is the cute girl at the school dance and she's only dancing with us right now to get our friend jealous 23:39 [] If Rose comes in and gives Mensa what she wants, she'll just toss us aside and forget we ever existed 23:39 zombie_lanae yeah I do hope we can keep having them all to ourselves 23:40 zombie_lanae I know it's selfish but I want all their love 6:55 PM <+Isolatar> Praise Dio Pubstomper|BNC [20:01:55] Rose wouldn't plan a hit on Mensa because it would be !@#$ing stupid

Ships are an issue of their own but I think it may be past due that we added in a bombardment feature that works relatively the same as aircraft does now, there's no reason a nation that's blockading another nation can't bombard an airfield or barrack's yet can still hit infrastructure it simply doesn't make sense and wouldn't overpower anything if implemented, if anything it would just make the war mechanic's more interesting. I only say this because I think aircraft is in a good spot right now but ground forces are slightly OP, making ships relatively the same as aircraft with an additional req to actually have a blockade in effect before being able to bombard might be interesting. Sorry I'm off topic but you make a good point in that ships are mostly useless in the first place.
