Simple poll. When you defeat a nation in war you gain $1,000,000 for winning that war. This amount does not impact standard loot. This money does not come from the nation defeated. It is simply a reward for winning a war.

With Pirate Econ you could have 6 wars active, and sending a defeat every ~2 days. Highly active and successful raiders could make an additional 15-20M a week-ish.

You can win a war in 2 days and maintain 6-9 active wars. 12-18mil every 2 days. 84mil a week in just the bonus.

Thats busted.

That's not quite right. That requires you to have pirate econ, your defensive slots filled, and win every war to get 9M every 2 days. Which is at most 31.5M a week. The requirement can be added that it needs to be an offensive war. That would put the cap at 5-6 wars that can get the bonus.

I hear your concerns, so here's a compromise/fix

Only new nations (sub 50 days?) get the 1m defeat award.

The whole point of my original suggestion was to keep newbies from being demoralized by inept target finding leaving them with barren raids. If they got an award from defeating anybody then they'd be that much more likely to continue raiding, and therefore being active. As long as they're slightly more intelligent than a potted plant, they'll from there start learning how to actually find targets themselves. Hopefully they'll even hit a particularly bad target and get into the politics, too :3

Why not make it based on a sliding scale based on number of cities? It would mean that people can't make insanely high amounts of money raiding at low levels, and for higher levels could be used as a way to insentivise beiging during globals.
