Kaz
@Alex, following the deletion of billions of dollars worth of commodity products at the end of Dial Up, the addition of the rather expensive CP, ACP and space projects, and the end of beige taxation at an alliance level, global supplies of almost all raw resources are at historic lows and still on the decline. Perhaps you might be willing to consider adding some inexpensive projects to increase mining production capabilities on par with what is available the refining side? It would certainly help the newer players to get a better foothold in the game. It would also help to bring the market back into some sort of relative balance. I’m curious what others think about this?
Danzek
New projects are always a fun idea, but I don't like the framing that this is a mechanics/balance issue with the game. It's not. 1 hour ago, Kaz said: It would also help to bring the market back into some sort of relative balance. The market is fine. If it is so unbalanced, you could, you know, switch your build to produce a single raw instead of having the same refining build. But you won't. 1 hour ago, Kaz said: It would certainly help the newer players to get a better foothold in the game. I don't see how? Not only are projects not unique to new players, they aren't even able to have an abundance of them. I'd wager it'd almost solely be beneficial be whales, just like it's whales that benefit most from mass irrigation. And it'd also help you, by driving raw prices down, meaning new players make less from mining raws, and you make more from refining them.
