Days within celebration of re-independence and the recreation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland has been halted due to a major surprise attack on British soil. Her Majesty's Armed Forces are now actively setting up a swift defense to the frontlines opened by the Systems Alliance within the British Isle and our french holdings. The Systems Alliance spokesperson has released this statement:

The City of London, violated the Alliance-Anglo Treaty that they signed days before declaring independence once they saw what they presumed as destabilized government within the Alliance. WIthout notice, they forcefully removed our representatives and forced our hand and left the Alliance after accepting millions of dollars to rebuild London. For this, we cannot allow such abuse of the system in place. 

However the Queen denies accepting any form of aid from the Alliance and states the money funneled in was corporate funds from the Alliance from Corporations entering the English markets. She also has condemned these attacks and demands an immediate cease of hostilities, but until then the British Armed Forces shall defend our lands and our very existence to live.

Our prayers are with our brothers and sisters being held by the Systems Alliance, and hope for a swift end to this needless ar.

British Commanders were overwhelmed at the initial invasion, they were not expecting an attack from the Systems Alliance, and presumed the cross of the Atlantic Ocean would be enough to keep the Alliance at bay, or very least give time for adequate defenses to be built. It appears the Systems Alliance forces have been selected at random, and unsure why the dutch holdings were considered targets. They did attempt to invade the London area but failed after the London's Naval Defenses kicked in and the 1st Royal Navy routed them away. At this time, their advancement has halted, but British Command believes another wave of attacks are imminent. The Royal Navy has been placed around the British Isles in attempt to cut off Systems Alliance logistics and the Royal Air Force is in process of halting Alliance planes entering British Airspace, however most of Ireland has been captured by the enemy.

With the news of the Systems Alliance engaging in combat with the UK it wasn't long before the entire Britannian Council was up in arms about what to do. Once the letter from the UK arrived at the Emperor desk it became very clear that Britannia would be forced to act or face hostility from the UK government if they were to win, or face condemnation if they let numerous amounts of people to die. It was a decision that would force Britannia to enter a new chapter in it's history.

 

"Anything we do, we will be violating some treaty or running over someone's feet. it's best if the one who gets the hurt, is the one that won't have a country to base an army to get revenge!" Jeremiah spoke to the council attempting to rally the Britannian Knights who were split on a vote to aid either country. Lelouch sat patiently as he wanted to know what his most trusted advisors had thought as he plotted his own move. "If we don't act now, more innocent people will be lost, Britannia's entry to this war will see a quick end to it then if we let it spiral out of control!" Suzaku got up, changing his vote from inaction to action. His change caused a domino effect and the council voted action.

"After Systems Alliance launched a deadly bombing campaign on the city of London, London's Firefighting teams are busy putting out the flames left over. London's Industrial Sector taking the biggest hit, with Commercial and Residential zones suffering as well. Her Majesty's office has stated that Martial Law shall be enacted and Parliamentary Elections are being postponed until further notice. The current casualties of this attack is at 20,345 while 120,340 citizens are suffering injuries. The British government is requesting for emergent medical supplies to be delivered from Kingdom of Sweden, Holy Britannian Empire and is redirecting medical reserves in France to cover the needs of the injured. BCN is also getting reports of a breakthrough in Ireland, and half the island is now under British Control, however we have gotten reports that the Alliance forces have made gains in Scotland. After a week of deliberation, King Ciel of Sweden has announced that the Kingdom shall be

assisting the United Kingdom in dealing with the invasion from the Systems Alliance. The

reasoning for this is to continue to status quo on the European continent as well to improve

relations between the Swedish and British kingdoms. The 1st Infantry Division lead by Major

General Jean Bernadotte shall be sent to assist the army on the European mainland, first

landing in The Netherlands before moving on to Brittany and Bordeaux. Consisting of 15,000

soldiers, 500 tanks and 100 artillery pieces. 2 Cruisers from the Royal Swedish Navy shall also

be sent to provide naval support and bombardment if needed. Being the first military action

taken by the Kingdom, there are high hopes that the Swedish Expeditionary Force will

be successful in its endeavours.

Operation Fury

 

At midnight on February 4 the plan was finally put into action after days of careful planning to deliver a decisive blow. Multiple reports began to surge in as Britannian soldiers and armoured vehicles crossed the border into the Systems Alliance. Covered by both support artillery and bombers hitting defensive points hard allowed a blitz to commence in the north and south of the border between Britannia and the Systems Alliance.

Britannian Forces had begun to encircle a chunk of the Systems Alliance stationed at the mid-border. This is where Britannian troops were positioned to act as a decoy to force the Systems Alliance to concentrate their forces as Britannia went around hitting hard in an attempt to force a large portion of the enemy to surrender or face a brutal battle from all sides while the flanks were secured. However, this wasn't the only fighting occurring, nor the most important.

Britannia had also placed hidden troops to be stationed around New York in preparation for the battle of New York. With hidden troops on Staten Island and Manhatten, the plan was to quickly secure the bridges leading into New York to allow armour and artillery to be moved into place to put pressure on the Systems Alliance. The other areas that were not seeing any offensive operations were heavily fortified in order to force the Systems Alliance to battle against the pursing Britannians.

With this occurring the Naval Ships sent to the Bahamas and resting with Britannia were sent around to begin a naval invasion near brooklyn. With the assistance of a Britannian Capital Ships nearby, airstrikes were conducted quickly on John. F Kennedy Airport in hopes to cripple the Systems Alliance ability to contest the air and force a quick end to the fight for the city. As the goal as to leave the city as much intact as possible, or if push comes to shove, build a new city on it's rubble.

Systems Alliance POV:

News of Holy Britannian Empires entry into the war, logistics and manpower became strained and the need to redistribute our manpower was needed. 90% of the troops within the British Isle have been redeployed to the front line while the 60% on France were to be deployed. The City of New York has also surrendered to protect the city itself and to keep a massacre out of its borders. 90% of Systems Alliance military is now focused within front line .

 

United Kingdom POV:

After receiving notice of massive operations on the North American continent, British Commanders quickly snubbed out its enemy within the British Isle and Ireland. Quickly Securing their homeland, and with the assistance of the Swedish forces, the last holdouts within France were quickly removed and Operation Red has begun and perpetration and a copy of the plan has been sent to the Holy Britannian Empire to inform them of our current movements.

Objective one: Removing Alliance Naval capabilities to block British movements by removing their important harbors in Haiti and the Dominican Republic

• Aerial Royal Paradrop Marines will drop into position to destroy many defenses in the area
• Once Commanders on the island have reported that defenses are ready to be destroyed Navy bombardment will take place to clear a landing point
• Once a area can be secured, transports will deliver troops and tanks to secure the island and secure the island

 

Objective two: Invade mainland and secure the coast

• Aerial Bombardment will commence as soon as Haiti and Dominican Republic island has been secured.
• After hours of bombardment and a staging point can be secured, troops will begin to secure a foothold to allow a frontline to be created.
• once initial objectives highlighted in red are taken, forces will start to move towards Cheyenne, Commanders will be advised to report to Britannian Empire 

Objective three: Capture of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Systems Alliance

• Secure of Cheyenne will be a symbol of British victory, and will be a top priority.
• Once the city is captured, the capture of System Alliance leaders will be top priority. The top leaders must be kept alive to face tribunal and for the necessity to secure a peace agreement.

With the Initial blitz from the Holy Britannian Empire, the Systems Alliance military wasnt able to stabilize the frontlines in time, losing countless provinces to the Britannian forces. However with the reinforcements from the British Isles, they were able to stabilize the frontlines and halt the Britannian's push into their lands.

Battle for the Northern End

Systems Alliance troops hurriedly created a form of defense systems but with wide gaps in the front line and the majority of the Systems Armed Forces weren't on Mainland during the conquest of Britain and the ones that were were positioned in the Mid sector where the majority of the Britannian forces appeared to be, the Systems Alliance forces fought for hours and tried to keep the Britannian forces from getting through the gaps, however, shortly after a Britannian squad was able to move past and maneuver behind the front line and encircled the forces. The remaining forces moved to create a new frontline in hopes to stabilize the area.

 

Battle For New York City:

When the bridges were captured by the Holy Britannian Empire and the loss of the Airport, the city went into chaos and the police couldn't handle the citizens from rioting, and with Britannian forces moving in and the risk of civilian casualties, the Governor of New York City officially surrendered and the New York Systems Alliance Guarde surrendered.

 

Battle for the Southern End:

Troops here were more secured than their northern counterparts. The General in charge of the Southern forces was more skilled than his northern counterpart and almost kept the Britannian forces at bay. He was almost always able to predict the enemies movements, but wasnt able to see the attacks was a decoy, and eventually the General called for a retreat before they could be encricled and trapped.

Once the Britannians were able to secure the flanks, they moved to close into the Midsector of the frontline, causing massive casualties as the forces swam from all sides, only leaving a gap where Systems Forces remaining forces were able to escape entrapment.

Operation Fury Phase 2

 

With the near collapse of the Systems Alliance on the American Front Britannia had begun to change it's strategy. While the military had been deployed, and all units were scrambling to secure the fronts it was both a good and bad time to pick another target. For now, planning had begun, while New York was secured and the front-lines were once again established.

With the aid of local police and military units New York was a hotbed for control. While the Systems Alliance had given up in droves there was the issue to secure every piece of New York to ensure there wouldn't be any uprisings. Troops were being pulled out while Police were being moved in. Even still, armoured units remained to bolster the low amount of military personal.

 

In the meantime more and more military members were being called up to join in the fighting. While progress was being made, reports were being made that Britannia had suffered numerous injuries due to the initial blitz but quickly stablizied the front. With around 9 to 8.5 thousand injuries and roughly 100 KIAs the fighting was still favoured to the Britannians. It was very clear Britannia was fully committing to end the war in their favour and be the last country in the West.

 

For now however, Britannia has begun to bomb Systems Alliance strongholds along the border in order to pressure them to sue for peace and end the fighting. Britannia had put out their notice to their leaders they were willing to end the fighting for unconditional surrender. If not, another offensive would begin against their country and they wouldn't stopped until the entire country was overrun by Britannian Forces.

"It appears the Systems Alliance is crumbling under the pressure of war, as the California Republic has renounced its place within and has ordered System Alliance garrison from its lands and announced its plans to contact the Britannian government about surrendering, Prime Minister Elizabeth McCord has also left the government after military leaders of the Systems Alliance dissolved into infighting within. The last remaining member of government was the Minister of Housing and Healthcare, who stated they wish to end this war so he can finalize the dissolution of the Systems Alliance in peace. The Systems Alliance and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland have also agreed to a cease fire to enter negotiations of ending conflict between the failing Alliance and the rising Kingdom of Great Britain. The United Kingdom is also requesting the Holy Britannian Empire and Kingdom of Sweden to join these negotiations set in Haiti."

With the approach from the Systems Alliance for peace Britannia has brought down their strikes against the Systems Alliance. Britannia has agreed to peace to end the war in Haiti alongside the UK. However, Britannia has made it very clear that any attacks committed by the opposing side will see more strikes on their soil. Should they keep their word, Britannia is willing to put aside the war and begin the transition to peace.

Operation Gustav

 

With the Britannian entry into the war, resistance against the Swedish Expeditionary Force has

been substantially declining ever since they landed in The Netherlands. The 15,000 strong 1st

Infantry Division lead by Major General Jean Bernadotte was quickly able to liberate the

Systems occupied provinces of North Holland and Friesland. This was quickly followed by

redeployment to France where Swedish troops assisted the British in ejecting the enemy from

Britanny as well as the final port of Bordeaux, where Swedish artillery was able to sink several

transport ships before they could be used in evacuations. With most of the Systems Alliance

troops captured or defeated, and Swedish casualties totalling around 500, Operation Gustav

has been deemed a decisive victory. With negotiations being opened up in Haiti, Major General

Bernadotte shall be sent there to represent the Kingdom of Sweden in negotiations.

HMS Queen Victoria

The HMS Queen Victoria Aircraft Carrier pulls into borders of the Haitian port, with Queen Victoria Anderson within, awaiting to enter the Westland Wessex HCC.4 helicopter. Once Arrived, the Royal Squadron shall launch and escort the helicopter straight to the landing zone on top of the conference building with her Royal Guard, the ones with her wearing the traditional guards outfit while the rest wore conventional Black suits and took over security of the building, forbidding any Haitian guards to enter the facility, however will allow Swedish and Holy Britannian Guards to pass without any issue, nor need to discard weapons, however the Systems Alliance bodyguards will be forbidden to bring any form of weapons inside and have agreed to these terms. 

While negotiations are in place, the Royal Squadron will be enforcing a No Fly Zone in the city, requiring any aircraft to be identified before allowing entrance. Holy Britannian Empire has already received codes for their IFFs to bypass the need to identify to the Royal Squadron. Systems Alliance is forbidden to use aircraft in the airspace, once they land at the airport, they must use ground base transport

1. Systems Alliance admits defeat to the forces of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Kingdom of Sweden and the Holy Britannian Forces
2. The Systems Alliance will pay 200million to the United Kingdom 
3. The Systems Alliance shall recognize the UK's sovereignty.
4. Systems Alliance will not intefere with Britannian's claim over Cuba and relinquishes its half of the Panama Canal

In light of recent events, it became clear the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Holy Britannian Empire have many in common, and with common need, they come together to form Pax Britannica, a Military Alliance to protect both empires. 

• Signatories of this agreement shall come to either defense in case of of an attack on either party. An attack on one will be treated as an attack on all.
• Signatories promise to not harm either party politically, economically or militarily.
• Holy Britannian Empire and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland will co-administrate the Panama Canal as long as the United Kingdom provides Naval support and defense of the Panama Canal.

The United Kingdom-Swedish Agreement

For the support of the Swedish forces help in France, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland shall send a payment of $50million to the Kingdom of Sweden and recognize their role in the defense of UK's lands.
