Adrienne
A lot of recruitment messages do it and those aren't an issue in my opinion/add a lot to the message. There should be some sort of filter though, if that's possible.

No point in spending the effort on something that won't prevent the issue. Buorhann
I actually agree with this suggestion. I'm not aware if this is a thing, but I'd also request the ability to not imbed links too. If it's simply a C&P, then that's fine, but a hotlink is also a bad idea. Quote Warrior of Dio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfPCFQfOnLg
Avakael
Just got an in-game DM of that nasty gaped butthole pic again. Yeah, can't really see why embedded images have a place in DMs.

Theodosius
I'd rather suggest making a limit on how many messages can nations younger than 30/60 days send daily. 5 seems reasonable.
Madokami
Or perhaps just disable it until the current climate stabilizes
durmij
The upside of having nicer recruitment messages in meaningless compared to potential consequences of allowing users the ability to send message. If we ignore the ethical concerns over leaving an avenue for potential malcontents to send gore and porn to children, what happens when some players Karen mom looks over their child's shoulder and directly in to that famous dilated brown eye? We might all be all be jaded enough that we don't mind looking at a mans soul through his anus, but maybe it's not a good business decision? ForgotPants
Why not restrict new nations from mass messaging instead? Any nation younger than 'x' days should not have the ability to mass message. One on one direct messages will still work.
namukara
OMG, pornspammers might have just made it so recruitment messages aren't done through inaccessible images. Please do this Alex.

Singha
I feel sorry for the real creative minds that want to do cool recruitment messages with images but someone is literally working to ruin it for everyone.
Arawra
If possible, I think Alex should just disable the ability to add and embed images in messages for non VIP users. Alliances can easily afford VIP for their recruitment bot, but the people attempting to spread vile images will be quickly shut down. And folks detected sending messages like this would've be instablocked. Why top 50? Why not the alliances that really need it, like the ones that might not have enough people to guarantee that one of them will be a half-decent coder
