Artifex
I enjoyed seeing all the plans for new games spring up. It really is nice seeing the next generation being built. If any good comes out of this community's destruction, it'll be the next game. 1 Quote Love you

Guest John Q Listener
It's a shame that a bunch of posters have come in here with their negativity, I'm looking for people to reflect on what is good about the game right now. Shame on you nay-sayers!
Syrachime
Well, Coal B helped me pay for new cities with what I've looted from you guys, so I've enjoyed that. I've had fun learning more about the game and gaining valuable experience along the way. Most of all though, I think I've enjoyed seeing Coal B constantly shoot themselves in the foot time after time and putting themselves in such a position that they are paranoid of future wars with us. Daniel Storm
Idk why anybody wants the war to end, what even is there to do in this game during peace? Play very shitty sim city? Besides, it can't end until I get myself on the Soldier and Aircraft kill leaderboards, would be a shame to pause my progress for months of farming infra like some sort of weakling.
Avakael
Well, the piracy is neat. The cash and resources I've managed to squirrel away since t$ re-entered are rapidly approaching billion dollar territory. It just requires slightly more effort than normal to make money. I can respect this reason for wanting the war to go on. But my friend, without peace no one can build their planes up really, so it might be a bit for the other 50k or so planes more you need to kill but keep at it. This war is doing lots of help for my Casualties statistic and nukes launched.

Good luck, I only have 71 more nukes to launch at IQ nations before i'm #1 in the game (and of course probably another 20 after that... it's a competitive leader-board...) so hopefully I can get it done before peace. That's the problem with winning wars so often, you can never nurture these stats.

Popular Post Aero
The current state of the game is definitely an interesting topic to discuss and I am glad a thread was made where it can civilly be done without going seriously off-topic from the OP or It getting to hostile for my taste. Anyway, for the most part the state of the game is in a weird spot. Not just because of all the global wars, but people just not really being able to feel like they can speak freely anymore. There is a lot of feeling even within the coalitions that if they speak out they are gonna be ridiculed or shut down. Or even for those people who wanna leave and explore the world there's the fear of either perma-roll or denial based on previous relationships held. This is a feeling from BOTH sides. I've seen it, I've talked to people about it and gotten these exact feelings from them. When I came back to the game late October I had no idea what was going on. Even then, until I really became Head of FA for Polaris again is really when I actually was able to draw my own conclusion on things. Are there things I dont agree with how they went? Yes. Are there things that I agree with from my side. For sure. And I have no problem saying both of those things. I was not a quiet one when I was brought into servers. Wasn't my job to be quiet. I didn't have that fear of being unable to speak openly, though sometimes Im sure there are times where some would like me to be quiet :P. The relationships I have come to have in this short amount of time are fantastic, and they are on both sides of this war. I cant count the amount of times people have told me that they dont know why I am on the side Im on. Not being here for the beginning of the war myself, I can't tell you how things would have panned out. But I am not upset or sad nor do I regret doing the things that I have done on the side im on. I am happy. These people I fought alongside aren't angels.. but they're not demons either. I think some things have gone to far to be repaired though, in some cases atleast. And it is truly sad that this is the case. But, don't look to things to make them worse. I'd like to push for 2020 to be a year where despite anything that has already happened we can kinda all start over abit. Push forward in a new year to try and be better than we were in 2019. Maybe people like Sphinx can try to leak alittle less(Kappa) or someone like me can be alittle more Vocal in what I want rather than just arguing the points when presented to me. All in all, we all started playing this game for a reason, no matter what that reason maybe, don't forget it. After all, this is still just a game. At the end of the day, if you really didnt want to play it you wouldn't, so the fact that everything that is going on is going on and you're still here, means that deep down you are willing to see what happens after all of this settles. And I look forward to that day aswell :). I apologize for this post, I'm sure someone started reading this and got halfway through it and stopped after saying "what the frick is he on about". Truth is its 2:40AM my time and I am tired but I wanted to use this post as a way to say, thank you for playing this game, and even if it very fricked up right now. It wont always be this way and I look forward to seeing how everything turns out to look during eventual peace time :). 4
Popular Post Aksel
OP is looking for real talk? Being in this game for quite a bit as the biggest trash pile I can finally say that there is now solid competition for that title. I think a lot of people would agree that the game in general is dang boring, the community of the game is reminiscent of driving through New Jersey and saying 'wtf is that smell?!' - well thats just New Jersey. What takes the prize are the smaller communities around politics and war where you can get away from all the shittalk here and have some fun with some genuine people from all sides of the Orbis political spectrum. As a matter of fact, during the real fake award show last night I got to hear jazz talk and tbh he made me laugh a lot - where I thought he was my main competitor for 'biggest trash pile' I was wrong. Genuinely enjoyed the dude. The best part about hopping around to different communities is Aero's nips and actually being able to connect with people outside of PW, RL shit is what brings the whole thing together. I'm in IRONFRONT and we build a community - not just a membership to Politics & War - hanging out with those guys and gals that we have from young to old is what keeps me logging in on the daily. We bump heads, argue, and laugh with each other just like fam do and thats where I find my love....not for the game, but for my peoples. War? Shit. I started in COL B and found myself on COL A or D or whatever the dang hell y'all are calling it and to be honest what is the difference? You got big heads on both sides calling the shots, refusing to let go of pride ego and the idea that 'i'm right and you're wrong' - when its just a damn game. Pixels burn, people quit, people thrive - in the end, we are all gonna die wasting hours on this game. Luckily, I engage with pw shit at work and when I'm off its just chillin with my peeps on discord. Shoutout to Hannah, Pika, Kev, Charlie, Aero, Jordan, Tom, Rachael, Dynamic, Caanite - y'all the real G's. If I missed your name, it's prob because its 0320 and i don't feel like it.

Popular Post James II
While normally I'm not opposed to war, and have enjoyed quite a few long wars and series of wars with my dear friend @Prefonteen and a number of Arrgh Admirals. The toxicity pouring from one particular side makes it hard to enjoy. Mockery of dead people Declared intent to get nations to delete and alliances to disband (Including a request in peace terms to allow two members of the community to be rolled indefinitely) Praising nation deletions Making children eat animal food Just not an environment that is particularly fun. For two months I was literally able to do nothing except buy credits( which I didn't because I wouldn't have been able to use them anyways, it would have just been a waste) and log in. The only actions I was able to take. I tried to obtain peace from day one and and was denied along with my allies every attempt. At least I can log in and launch an attack now. 1 13 Quote "Most successful new AA" - Samuel Bates
Guest Elijah Mikaelson
Hello everyone. I will leave my asshatty to one side for this topic only. This war has had up's and downs for me, I would say generally more down's than up's. I know everyone has a line to tow for whoever they are allied with, others take it to far and some are just blind to how far they have taken it. Last few weeks I have been in VM for irl reasons, but it has given me some insight to this war, I can truly say I hope it lasts a lot longer than it has. With that in mind, I'm keen to hear all your stories about how you are having fun with the current state of Orbis events or maybe some of the interesting vignettes you have. I'll start: I've found it really enjoyable to be part of an excellent group of individuals who are well-coordinated and are just all-round cool. It's been quite an experience coordinating with alliance and other OD players to meet the goals set by our leaders, and it's cool to think that we are shaping the future of Orbis with our current actions (and for the better). Cheers all! The, literally, only reason I'm still in this game after 2½ years, is the community. The game has so little to offer, the community so much. The wars are boring as hell. The peace time is even worse after a bit. And then, on occasion, you check the OWF and you wish your had cancer in your eyes. The 3% who march these forums like it's the only battlefield that matters are really making it alot worse for all the rest of us. Hence, I've succumbed to posting a lot of meaningless posts for them to reply to. It's been fun. Meanwhile, someone had the lame idea to infect BK's Discord with these annoying anime emojis. I'm a 22 city nation. Anyone want me? Only requirement is you have to have it as your main vision to kill the weebs. :< 2 Quote "Don't argue with members of The Golden Horde.
