Lu Xun
Description: Maskirovka enables a different attack that can only be used once every 7 days and costs 12 MAP. For 3 days, your nation data is hidden from view, including your city build, your infrastructure build, and so on, up to and including your beige status. Nations still know you exist, and you have a randomly assigned fake nation score which is bypassed when checking for declare rights. A successful gather intelligence operation on a Maskirovka nation can temporarily cancel the effects of Maskirovka for 1 turn. Alternatively, allow Maskirovka to set your nation display stats to whatever you wish. So you could theoretically have 99 cities displayed, with 999999 planes, but on careful inspection this doesn't hold up. You cannot, however, hide the Maskirovka wonder, and if you destroy the project, the effects wear off. Maskirovka is an expensive project, costing: $300 million 3,000,000 Steel 3,000,000 Munitions 3,000,000 Gasoline 3,000,000 Aluminum 30,000,000 Food Edited August 31, 2019 by Inst 1 1 Quote . True King
Could be interesting if it gives an enemy fake battle odds, so they need to guess. Although still costs as much as a nuke. Only reason using it would be feasible is you can just use one slot to raid inactives & keep it going forever at no cost pretty much outside that war in use with others. So not sure how much sense it makes to have something using MAP apply to everyone outside that war as well. Kinda OP & effect might as well always be active. Guest Elijah Mikaelson
$300 million 3,000,000 Steel 3083 = 9,249,000,000 3,000,000 Munitions x 1457 = 4,371,000,000 3,000,000 Gasoline x 2200 = 6,600,000,000 3,000,000 Aluminum x 2280 = 6,840,000,000 30,000,000 Food x 214 = 6,420,000,000 Total = 33,780,000,000 Can I get a loan OR you can build 45 cities with infra and land. Solar
Lop off a few zeros from the resource cost, then the project might be slightly less silly.

Still, the mind-game aspect of the game is underutilized. TBH, this system isn't really practical to code, because you'd also have to input fake data into the APIs as well. Bit increasing the intelligence game in this game is a useful factor, since it's often too linear and ambushes are hard to set. 1 Quote .
True King
Jacking the cost to unrealistic levels doesn’t compensate if you think it’s OP. Maybe remove the resource costs completely. The MAP cost might be pointless & just encourage various types of slot filling.
Lu Xun
Yeah, agreed with this problem. One idea might be simply to have a cheaper, smaller project that randomly adds up to 50% to or subtracts 33% from your military count, recalculated at update. Less deliberate deception and more noise. I'd point out that the rise of big data systems in this game (NPO War Stats) and other automated tools make it tough for other alliances to compete. One way to get around it is to introduce noise to the data to reduce big data advantage. Quote .
True King
I think those city planning things using resources should be the exception rather than new rule on projects.
