At 7pm yesterday, The Imperial Army Chief of Staff, General Alfred von Heidemarie, has announced his retirement citing poor health and wanting to discover more about the world after 40 years of military service. "I believe an adventure in the beautiful winter forest in the North will be a great opportunity to be closer to nature and get in touch with my inner self", he said.

Her Royal Highness, the Empress, has also given her blessings for this decision: "Although it pains me to lose one of our nation best generals, but he deserved his rest after contributing so much for our cause. I can only wish for the best in his future ventures, and may he find peace and happiness in his retirement."

It has also been announced that General Heidemarie successor is going to be General Iris von Cecillia, making her the first female Chief of Staff in the history of our nation.

"Alas, I can't blame him, after the trauma of ABSURDITY that he suffered. Despite outnumbering the enemy on all accounts, an 'utter failure' was thrust upon us by 'fate'." (aka RNG)
