Hello Orbis, Marginal-Micro-Former-Meat-Shield-Co-Leader of The Horsemen here. Just a simple announcement (Full Disclosure, I'm 44% drunk) but unfortunately we will be severing all ties with

Turns out when you use allies as meatshields to compensate for your shitty milcom, they tend to not be allies for much longer.

Second alliance I have seen in IQ that has a mind of its own

Bk is the same to the ones they protect

You see, new alliances dont have a choice.
KETOG doesnt do protectorates usually
Chaos is a closed group and I dont think getting a protectorate will be easy.

BK and NPO are the only places they can go to.
Even now, Horseman is indirectly tied to NPO via its allies.
There isn't anywhere else to go. Either you are them or you are nothing
This is the hegemony that will kill the game

There's some truth here and sometimes it worries me. I think "maybe our bloc should do more to foster newer communities"!

But on the other hand, we leave them alone until they literally jump us. So there's a third way, probably. :P

I don't think it's quite as bad as you make it out to be. The big spheres usually have bigger fish to fry than to go after small alliances, so it's not too difficult to stay out of their crosshairs, as long as you don't do something stupid to provoke them, especially if most of your members are low-mid tier. They mostly just need to be strong enough to defend themselves against Arrgh, which some smaller alliances could do on their own, and if not, one or two alliances with other smaller alliances should be enough.

Good riddance. It's about time that someone regained control of their minds.

Reminder that Horsemen exited the war than re-entered in Knightfall, so don't be surprised if they reuse the tactic.

Animation Domination found out the hard way that this is not always that easy.  Arrgh steamrolled them.

And they're treated like crap for it, too.

No. We didn't. We were there from the first blitz to the last.
