Popular Post Raoul Duke
Hello Orbis, Marginal-Micro-Former-Meat-Shield-Co-Leader of The Horsemen here. Just a simple announcement (Full Disclosure, I'm 44% drunk) but unfortunately we will be severing all ties with The New Pacific Order, effective immediately. We have always been a loyal bunch but We were lied to, for whatever reason....and I don't even care to investigate the reason..or explain the reason...as even in our dissolution..The Horsemen will do our best to be loyal....even to an alliance that doesn't deserve it. So NPO, best of luck to you. I'm sure you will find the happiness and Orbis Domination you are looking for but as for The Horsemen, we do what we say we will do and we expect the same from our allies. My responsibility to my guys is number 1. Maintaining an alliance with a group that only sees us as a meat-shield cannot continue. I'm keeping this brief. If I continue to type, vitriol and nonsense will come forth. Also, the average attention span of the modern human is 300 words or less. Ok, full, full disclosure..i'm 74% drunk.  -The Dude  Oh yeah..we withdraw from this nonsense (war).  Edited June 21, 2019 by Raoul Duke I'm drunk 8 4 72 1 Quote  Registered slot thief Buy the ticket, take the ride. Popular Post Spaceman Thrax
Good luck Horsemen. I know we didn't precisely have the best history given the Fark war, but I appreciate your sense of humour and I'm always happy to see more people willing to play politically. If you want to take a crack at us later on your own terms, no hard feelings from me, so best of luck with whatever you choose. Â Â Â 2 9 Quote Slaughter the shits of the world. KETOG doesnt do protectorates usually Chaos is a closed group and I dont think getting a protectorate will be easy. BK and NPO are the only places they can go to. Even now, Horseman is indirectly tied to NPO via its allies. There isn't anywhere else to go. I think "maybe our bloc should do more to foster newer communities"! But on the other hand, we leave them alone until they literally jump us. So there's a third way, probably. Either you are them or you are nothing This is the hegemony that will kill the game I don't think it's quite as bad as you make it out to be. The big spheres usually have bigger fish to fry than to go after small alliances, so it's not too difficult to stay out of their crosshairs, as long as you don't do something stupid to provoke them, especially if most of your members are low-mid tier. They mostly just need to be strong enough to defend themselves against Arrgh, which some smaller alliances could do on their own, and if not, one or two alliances with other smaller alliances should be enough. Ryan1
Good riddance. It's about time that someone regained control of their minds. Reminder that Horsemen exited the war than re-entered in Knightfall, so don't be surprised if they reuse the tactic.

Popular Post Sir Scarfalot
I have sincere respect for this move, Horsemen. Being protected by an abusive 'protector' that demands to be protected by protectorates in turn is no way to live, and good on you for having both the brains and the balls to see the abuse for what it was AND to take the necessary steps to leave the relationship, despite the risks you face in doing so. Nobody, NOBODY better take advantage of Horsemen's bravery! I sincerely swear, I will personally roll to the ground any alliance that takes their split from IQ as an opportunity to raid them for easy stats. They are not an unprotected micro, they are a brave independent alliance. Independent, smaller spheres outside of abusive relationships with IQ are better for everyone, including IQ, and this sort of split must not be rendered impossible by forcing it to be a decision between abuse and another form of abuse. Horsemen deserve better, they deserve a non-abusive relationship, and I hope they find one before I end up fighting the whole of Orbis (again), since I'm kinda low on stashed aluminum and I'd have to reconfigure my nation to full missile mode which isn't as cheap as you might imagine Of course I'll personally roll Horsemen to the ground for the rest of time if they backpedal on this and are just abusing our trust to rebuild aircraft for a re-entry into the war. But I'm pretty sure they won't do that.
