I clicked login 5 minutes ago, still waiting to see the page, it's unplayable

At least a tab "how to take a screenshot"

I have attempted 3 ground battles on one opponent. None of them have actually gone through.

GG.

Edit: Heck, I can't even set up my new war anthem ?

Letting people know you watch porn and not caring if they know is a way of asserting dominance, just like T-posing.

It was even lagging badly 25 minutes ago. That was probably just from a 30 man blitz...

As I suggested on our forum (where people are already talking about other nation simulation games) we should all agree to put the entire game in vacation mode

Could just all agree that anyone buying or selling credits on the market are fair game and won't be defended until Alex fixes the server issues. This will decrease the demand for credits and really incentivize Alex to get a fix done.

The lag is likely symptomatic of a larger, overarching issue with how the game retrieves and displays information, redundancies in code, than just server issues, though I'm certain that contributes.

As far as the effects of lag go, aside from the obvious issues - extended loaded time, delay in war, almost complete shut down of the site during 'rush hour', inability to quickly downdeclare/updeclare, react and attack - it's become so bad that basic tasks like opening up nation pages or confirming things like who is attacking whom take ages where they should take, at maximum, moments. Moreover, the game loses out on a steady stream of potential players. Anyone that signs up in the mean time is neither aware of this being 'anomalous' (though with how often it happens it may not be very fair to call it that...). If I were a brand new player who had just stumbled upon the game, and my own nation page took half a minute to five to load, I would quickly throw my hands in the air and move on.
