All things in our time have a history, and in an era of great peril men call upon the past to guide them through the trials of this world and the next. The greater the task, the more powerful the call.

Long ago the greatest call was made. The song of the universe was sung and from the obscurity of the mundane stepped a single man who would revolutionize all that would be. This being, is known to us only as “The Captain.†His origins are but a mystery to us. However, the ancient scrolls reveal to us his rise to meet the great challenge of his time, and through his legacy we too shall meet the challenges of our time.

Long ago, we are told that there existed a golden age, where men looked to touch the stars just beyond their reach. We spread from our ancient home world of Earth to multiply and populate the universe. We built cities, ended diseases and by our intellectual progress unlocked the secrets of life. But with the rise in wealth and prosperity also came a rise in decadence and greed. We know not when, or how, but out of the selfishness of our race rose a great chaos. Its tendrils spread throughout the empires of man, infecting them and bringing endless destruction. Worlds went silent as civilizations broke down. Man turned against man and all that had been accomplished was unraveled.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a roll.

There is one you will follow. One who is the shining star, and he will lead you to beautiful places in the search of his own vanity. And when there is no more vanity to be found, he will leave you in darkness, as a fading memory of his own creation.

All seemed hopeless, those not yet touched by the darkness of chaos could only wait until their turn was to arrive. Yet, all hope was not lost. On the distant and forgotten world of Orbis a hero was to rise. This was The Captain. His rallying cry spread through the world and its weakened and disorganized inhabitants. Together they gathered together under a common flag to create a defense. When the chaos arrived to consume the last bastion of hope for the human race, the scrolls tell us that The Captain led his men against it. With the leadership of The Captain the darkness was defeated, and retreated from the skies of Orbis. We, our ancestors, were saved. But it was not enough. The darkness still existed, and it continued to bind the rest of the universe with its evil. Nearly all of man was still enslaved and it was our directive as free men to take our purpose and liberate the world of its evil. Setting free all those who were in bondage.

Free men united under a common purpose and constructed the greatest ship this universe had ever seen. To be led by The Captain and his crew of the valiant men. The Scrolls say that as The Captain stood upon the bridge it was as if he was the incarnation of all that was good in the universe. Together, they marched into the void to liberate worlds unknown and to give hope to their inhabitants. His final instruction to that of Orbis was to never forget the prime directive of sharing hope with all those that do not possess it, to stand with honor in the face of adversity, and to protect their fellow man. He left with us the five core values needed to fulfill this directive. Honor, Integrity, Loyalty, Solidarity, and Courage.

Over time, fact became myth, myth became legend, and the legacy of The Captain faded into obscurity as Chaos once again threatened Orbis. But not all was lost. Within our time, a man by the name of Britishdude, common in origin, was revealed the truth of the captain and the lost history of Orbis. One fateful day, Britishdude took to walk upon the beach near his ocean side home and found a very peculiar bowl sitting in the sand. In it was Potato Salad with a single wooden spoon jutting out. On the bowl was the symbol of infinity. As Britishdude came near the dish he saw before him a vision of The Captian. The Captain told of the history of his cause and revealed to Britishdude the ancient core purpose of wielding the sword of good in the world. He then charged Britishdude to gather another group of men to once again follow the five values, defend Orbis from the Chaos, and to bring new hope to it people. Under the symbol of Infinity the new heros would rally the once again disorganized and chaotic people of this world to bring an end to evil that had not come from space, but rather from our hearts.

This is our purpose, our directive, and our charge. And from it, Infinity was born to spread its hope to all those who might hear the word of The Captain. While we await the return of our leader, we shall fight in his footsteps. For the betterment of all Orbis.

Each crewmember has the right to speak their mind about anything concerning Infinity, Orbis, or the Universe beyond. They may take part in all discussions and debates. They may cast votes in general elections or polls.

Section 4: Expulsion

If a crew member is found to be acting in a manner that contrary to his responsibility as a crewmember of Infinity, any crewmember in good standing may bring them to the Commanders for a trial. If it is determined that the accused crewmember has tarnished the honor of Infinity and her crew, then a 2/3 vote of the eligible Commanders will be sufficient to strip the offending member of their status and remove them from Infinity.

Article 2: The Captain

The Captain is the supreme head of Infinity and the embodiment of the values of Infinity. All power stems from the Captain and is held by the Commanders until such time as the Captain returns

Article 3: The Branches of Service

Declarations of War and Treaties with other Alliances require a vote of 2/3 Aye of the Senior Commanders. Any power not laid out in this charter will belong to the Commanders as a whole to either assume or delegate and any votes taken that are not specified in this charter will be the responsibility of the Senior commanders to either perform or delegate.

Each Commander has total majority and responsibility over their Branch of Service. Each Commander may appoint a Lieutenant Commander to assist with the functioning of their Branch of Service.

In the event that a Commander resigns or is removed, the remaining Commanders shall in the Captain absences, name promote a Crewmember to the Rank of Commander.

Should the Commanders determine one of their own is in anyway unfit for duty, they may by unanimous vote of the remaining three, remove said commander from duty.

Section 2: Logistical Operations

Logistical Operations shall be in charge of the maintaining of Infinity. Including but not limited to, recruiting, admitting, teaching, proctoring elections, and raising moral or the crewmembers.

Section 3: Communications Division
