Commotion in the Streets of the Tanakosin Empire

After some time had passed since the public denouncing of the British Internationale, the outcry from the Empress towards the Premier, and then the removal of recognition of them being  a real, formal government, the pot of ideologies in the Tanakosin Empire started to become stirred. While wanting Asia to be free of the Major Powers that be Colonials, they were in support of a Free Asia movement, even though it came in the form of a Monarchy, with an Empress who held supreme power and military might. Unfortunately, due to the Empresses recent and somewhat harsh actions taken against the British Internationale while so early in her premature rule and being so young, many of the Chinese who were aided by the Internationale, with the aid of Socialists and Communists within the original borders of the Tanakosin Empire, began staging rallies and protests of the Empress. Immediately, the Empress banned Communism and Socialism, arresting the protesters and causing panic as Martial Law was enacted in the cities where the protests were being held. Freedom of Choice and Expression would be halted for today, as along with the Empress banning Socialism and Communism, the local populace who were radically against the colonization or influence of non-Asian countries, and those radical believers of the church and the Monarchy had began lashing out against the protesters.

It was stated in an official announcement that the banning of Socialism and Communism and Martial Law were made to protect the protesters from serious harm from other radicalized groups that would act against them, physically or otherwise. The newly established military groups by the local Vassals became confused as they were forced to police the Empire when they were supposed to be used for protection of these very people, but it was also the intent of the public speech to calm the soldiers and put an ease to their thoughts, hopefully convincing them of what they were doing as right.

-British Statement "This is the exact same thing that happened in Russia, Yugoslavia, China and other countries. Communism and ideologies branched off from communism but still hold close ties were outlawed, people were locked up for that. And they were working in the underground for a certain ammount of time only to watch by that the previous leader, a monarch would run away at the show of force. The Tsars fleeing to the east, the Yugoslav royals and government being flown to British Africa and then to London! And the only defenders there were the communists, former illegals. The proletariat! They were the ones to defend against odds. The Bolsheviks fighting the whole world with not much. The Yugoslav Partisans beating off the Whermacht and its allies, as well, at first, the homogeneous group of serbs supplied by the allies. Even helping the Soviets on their front with constant German movement of troops between the Balkan and Eastern front. They were loved by the people and the army that liberated was made out of the people. Men and women volunteered in masses. Resistance was never to be put down. And great nations came out of those liberations. They have beaten the nationalists on the field and then brought a period of improvement and elimination of those people that abandoned their state, that didn't stand there to protect it against an invader. Those nations are missed today, the people that founded those nations are missed today, because all that remains today is neverending corruption and suffering. People blame communists for many crimes, but those 'crimes' cannot be classified as that, we eliminate the real criminals, that left their people to suffer, brought martial law. That wanted to break the workers. But the workers the never break, as long as the bourgeoisie oppresses the workers, the proletariat will never be calm, they will never go down. And even after, they will be there to resist any plan to bring back the oppression!" -

Disgruntled by the British Internationales response to the situation, the Empress of the Tanakosin Empire prepared a formal statement, publicly. "The individuals proven to be peaceful Communist and Socialist protestors have not been jailed, I have ordered it that they be returned home and placed under house arrest for three months to allow our more radicalized population to calm down. I do not state martial law as a ploy to protect anything falsely, we admittedly have radical groups who protest Communism and Socialism at their core, and those who protest Communism and Socialism because they are foreign influences on our people. I am apologetic to the Communist families who had to bare witness to radicalized Royalists and Nationalists cause murder and destruction. The ban was officially made as a somewhat call to arms so that we could use force to bring order to the situation and protect the minority groups. We hope countries of other ideologies would think more of human lives than ideologies, if a peaceful protest was made against the current standing government, and radicals who shared the opinion of said government caused destruction and death to the peaceful protestors. This is not an attack on Communism, this is a resistance to our own radicalized grouos that we do not approve of. However, take note; I will not stand for encouraged bloodshed in any manner, and I will not backdown or look weak should I find support from any entity towards radicalizing a group. Thankfully, our Nationalists and Royalists who participated in the death and destruction did not have military grade weapons." Although, it was a given these radicals would be more likely to join the military, and use this thought process against the enemies of the Tanakosin Empire, but at current there wasn't a strong or formal psychological test for the military. However, moreover, the radicalized groups were not really being prosecuted, only a certain number of individuals were taken into custody, as public records showed.

The news of this was concerning to Asami Nakamura, she worried these actions would further increase the chance of a communist uprising in Asia. She stands at the podium to make a speech and States the following:

These recent actions of banning communist and socialist groups is not advisable. These actions will only justify their cause and will only do the opposite. If the people feel they are being oppressed, and a group offers them freedom, they will join in droves, and we cannot allow a large communist regime into Asia. That would threaten the freedom of the Asian people and we officially condemn the banning, however the Japanese condemn the communists and socialists for taking actions that can cause destabilization in the Tanakosin Empire and asks them to restrain from any further actions."

Corporate influencers would begin a quiet campaign of manipulating media within China towards socialism and communism, reminding them of the rapid advancements afforded in their past and aiming at directing them that way politically, while also marketing the concept of a democratic election to determine the fate of their country, as the largest population in the world it was important to understand what they desired as a whole.

Arming those who were favorable to such causes within the "white space" became more important than arming the nations surrounding as it was determined to be of more importance to counteract the growing powers who so far had not provided any display of interest in fruitful relationships on the company's terms.

Expansion into the Chinese market was decided to be more important than observing the Philippines and rights to corporate colonies were sold to gain further capital to fund the enhancement of the company's commitment to the Asia theater and an assurance that regardless of what the powers that be wished, they would achieve the intended objective before any withdrawal would happen.

Within the company's own territories however a message of the wonders of capitalism and the construction boom that follows the corporate sponsorship provided them with more than enough reason to stay and enjoy the new gadgets and toys that were brought to market. Televisions had a thousand channels with whatever you could imagine and preferring political ignorance rather than activism, keeping the population distracted and entertained made for less desire to rock the boat.
