Operation Saturation

The British proved to be too slow to accomplish what needed to happen so the fallback option was employed instead. There would be no official record of any of the events that happened, nor even any data within the company's computer systems. A single torpedo was created based upon that which would match Britiannian designs and was kept upon a LPD that was traveling with the fleet that was preparing for wargames.

A team of 4 naval operators was given verbal instructions regarding their objective and equipment to accomplish it and set out from the vessel.

"...BREAKING NEWS! MNS Queenstown was sunk near Britannian Japan. A brief statement was provided to us just moments ago!"

Quote

"A volley of torpedos was fired at the Queenstown from which it was critically damaged and sank, with many of the crew feared lost. An investigation into the source of the attacks and its perpetrator has begun and once completed we will ensure that the cost to us is paid back with interest."

"While terrorism from Rokkenjima has yet to end, the potential for several states could also be responsible, and we will provide more details as we receive them about this tragedy! Now back to your regularly scheduled programming..."

Men and weapons began to be sent in earnest to asia, the vaults of the company being released to reinforce its own positions and provide equipment to their southeastern neighbor. No diplomatic communications would be made to any other nation regarding the incident until an internal investigation with a prewritten report was released.

Hawaii would find itself visited by a pair of carrier groups and a blockade would begin, the only transmission that would be sent would be evidence of a Britiannian torpedo having been found in the waters surrounding the sunken corporate destroyer. The same evidence would be released publicly at the same time of course, with evidence being provided to the UN and global news outlets at the same time.

"Britiannian colonialism has led to an unprovoked attack against us, rather than kill those who do not need to die, their governance does not belong upon any land that touches the Pacific, and we will no longer recognize their government's control over these colonies and see them as payment for our losses due to this tragic event.

We will afford the liberty of a 48 hour time period for government officials and civilians to withdraw from the territories with no harm to come to them. Should our offer of peaceful transfer be rejected, we recognize a state of war with Britiannia's pacific territories until such time as the cost of our losses with interest is paid, and their colonialism within the Pacific ceases.

There was the impending need for a bastion for the next stage. The swath of islands that made up the Pacific ocean would also be added one by one, with each being visited by a team of surveyors in order to determine best defensive fortification and tactics for individual islands. It was expected to take several years to conclude such construction but time was not as limiting of a factor as territories were. Focus changed to ensuring that all tradelines were maintained and interest in securing them became the highest priority with the board as it lay.

Los Angeles and San Diego would have a diplomatic jet arrive and be offered a better deal than previous in exchange for loyalty only money can buy. Having already been under corporate control a transition would be easy and simply a matter of getting along with the neighbors better than the prior tenants. With the European theater having gone silent refocusing on the plan to restore the planetary shield was a more justifiable use of resources and the fleets that had been training in the north Atlantic came down to the Caribbean to navigate the waters between the new space elevator for the Americas and the panama canal for now.
