Something about the pressure from the depth perhaps but it was just another thing that was known but there was no real answer to. The power requirement was immense, and the nearby towns and cities went through rolling brown outs while the energy grid struggled to force enough energy into the province to maintain civilian and personal usage. It did work, however and that was all that really mattered. Word was transmitted to the boss that the trip was available once he returned, but accuracy was not determined and tests would be made using specialized drones. Created from lab grown biodegradable materials it was simple enough for them to self destruct if touched by someone without the correct device on their person, or turn into dust after a few years, even faster outdoors or humid environments. It was above anyone's pay grade where he was going, the computers would determine if it was what he was looking for.
