What's On The Dinner Table?

The time for decision making was soon, and ultimately up to the new Queen of Scotland. The Scottish who were migrating from the British Internationale were seeking their independence and heritage in the new Government-in-exile Kingdom of Scotland. Although the British Internationale had done quite a lot to be kind and reach out their hand, it wasn't nearly enough, and the hand still felt more of a grasp. The few small islands held by the Kingdom of Scotland were being overwhelmed with population of Scottish people, and refusing entrance to Scots would destroy the very foundation of the reason why the Kingdom of Scotland formed.

Encrypted messages were made, personal requests from the Queen of Scotland, and sent to the Allied States of America, United States of Northern Europe, and Mog[Corp]. The message encryption data was made through help from support from the USNE and some minor help from the AS, who both assisted in business making and infrastructure, gaining new and intelligent workers which aided the Scottish Government.

They would be requested to attend a meeting, one which would quite possibly change... or ignite the world. Both the USNE and ASA were requested to personally arrive as it was a very serious matter, and representatives would not be able to make any call or decision on the matter, and we couldn't let word of it get out. Since the AS and USNE both had military in Scotland, hopefully they could make the trip personally. As for Mog[Corp], it was expected their head of state/CEO would not feel safe, and they would send someone capable enough, if they chose not to personally attend.

Britannia and the British Internationale would not be alerted, nor requested to attend this meeting. However the Canafian nation would be allowed to attend, and a standard message of request would be offered, similar to Mog[Corp].

To President Harris,

Hello President Kamala! I hope you and the kids are doing well. I have an urgent matter that requests your personal attention. If it is possible, please personally arrive in Scotland on the attached date. It concerns the future of Scotland and its pressing needs. Because you have been so kind and open, your opinion, and decisions, in this matter could be very well enough to sway my own opinion. Please, it's very important.

Your Friend,

Queen Sorcha Catch.

Dear President Felix Anderson,

I speak on behalf of all of Scotland when I say, thank you for everything you've done. Our infrastructure and communications could not be any better. However, something important has arisen, and we request your presence immediately. Decisions need to be made that could change the world, or even ignite it. Please attend on the attached date. Thank you.

Her Majesty,

Queen Sorcha Catach.

Dear Mog[Corp],

The Kingdom of Scotland requests your presence, or capable person, to attend a meeting in the Kingdom of Scotland. We understand your position in the world, and would rather have an ally, or neutral party, in Mog[Corp] during this meeting. It is not a simple decision, as it could potentially change the state of the world. Please attend on the date attached.

Sincerely,

Tge Kingdom of Scotland.

Once everyone arrived, they would be shown to the meeting room, and treated very well, offering even meals. The meeting was to feel comfortable and welcoming at all costs.

A diplomatic aircraft containing an envoy with the power to represent the corporation would arrive when instructed containing a woman who would be going by the name of Bargain for the purposes of diplomatic discussion with MoG[Corp] for the planet for now and await the arrival of the others, spending her time alone in her room, seemingly dazing off silently with the corner of her lip or a finger occasionally twitching just slightly, as though she were dreaming.

From the office of the President of the Allied States of America

Quote

I accept your offer and will be there shortly. We will be arriving via the Allied One jet, escorted by the Allied States Air Force and I will have four Secret Service Agents near me at all times, it was the only way they would agree for me to attend this meeting, I hope you understand, I'll try my best to keep them out of the way.

As the message was sent out, the President would pack to make the trip and starts her trip to Europe a day before the meeting to ensure she arrived on time.

There weren't any issues with the required accommodations from th arriving guests. They wouldn't be permanent, and they'd be eager to o get back to their homes and respective places. Once everyone had arrived, they were shown to the meeting room where Sorcha Catach was already patiently waiting. She was afraid to be late, nervous, or anything that could be seen as weakness, so she had prepared for this since before she sejt the messages. She was still new to this, but this situation had to be addressed.

Once everyone entered, Sorcha stood up and welcomed them out of respect, "thank you all for coming, I apologize for the suddenness of it." She nodded, taking a seat once everyone was seated. "If you're hungry, you can treat this meeting also as a dinner, we want you to be comfortable as we discuss a tense subject." Sorcha went on ahead to release that subject while everyone was getting situated, "that subject being; the future of Scotland. We've run into a problem, unfortunately. The growing population on our small islands has shown that there are more and more Scottish peoples wanting freedom. Slowly, but we do have many every day, despite the firm words of the British Internationale saying none of them care about family anymore. This presents a problem; we are running out of room. We will Never restrict movement from the British International, as it would destroy everything this country is meant to be. This has stirred up tensions among the people. I have requested you all come here, as I need to make a decision, and whichever decision it is, I hope I can have your support. Soon, a civil war may erupt. If I support it, it will rally the people. If I don't, it will be mass hysteria. To silence the growth is to silence the people that have been silenced for hundreds of years. But... If I don't support it, it may save those of us who don't join, from the wrath of the British Internationale. If I do accept, and without any support, you all know we would likely parish. What is up for discussion today, is should I support a rebellion, and what kind of Support or Neutrality might I have from those of you? I must reiterate... The growing tensions will force an outbreak eventually, and if I don't support our people, it will divide us even further. We are very fragile, having little to no development outside of the British Internationale. It's dire we come to a decision, soon, please."

Mr Anderson glanced briefly at the other attendees. When none of them spoke, he cleared his throat.

"We do not believe that a military confrontation with the British Internationale would be well-advised. Due to the large population disparity, you would be unable to take on Britain alone. The USNE lacks the military capability to challenge the British in an offensive context, and we would be outcompeted industrially even if a theoretical initial attack succeeded. In a theoretical conflict, we would adopt neutrality unless the situation changed significantly, because as it stands, it is a doomed endeavour, and because the British Internationale has not made aggressive actions towards Scotland. For the sake of your nation's continued future, we urge you to seek alternative means of resolution, which we would assist in."

Kamala Harris, after taking a look at her phone, she clears her throat.

"It seems that the Masrani Global bought out the Allied States and have taken over governing and adminstrative duties of the government. As such, I have been appointed as Head of Operations and will be handling Masrani Global's Public Relations department. As such, with the Corporation taking over, and the Allied States Military being integrated into the Security Division, we won't be able to provide offensive capabilities to any aggressive attacks until the merge between the Allied States Command is switched to the ACU Division, and with Mascom being constructed and in the process of completing on bringing your citizens global communications, Security division training and providing defensive weaponry, military satellites and working on creating an Intelligence community for your nation, the best offer, officially, is to donate weapons, ammunition and Military advisors who would essentially be under your supervision and a liability form would need to be signed to ensure Masrani Global cannot be sued in a Court of Law for any injuries or deaths from either side from the weapons and ammunition we provided in donation."

"While an invasion of Britain is entirely within our means, it is also against our long term strategic interests currently. We are willing to negotiate to work towards returning Scotland to your control eventually and would agree to a public resolution of protection of independence. Masrani Global would need a reasonable amount of time to restore their full strength, and promotion of an arms race in Europe would benefit our portfolio but would not provide a healthy environment for a peaceful resolution. We'd support such a conflict should there prove to be a valid security and strategic value to doing so, but otherwise the long term cost would not be of a benefit. Regarding an overpopulation concern, we can certainly provide construction assistance to maximize your land usage and have experience in land reclamation, for more short term solutions."
