With the military movements on standby until the holidays pass over the Court of Pendragon has directed as much focus as it can towards more civil administration work in preparation for a new year. Withdrawal from China was beginning to be written down, allocation of funds usually directed to colonies was being sent instead to public services and finally, an old Arab-era law was put into place which, if it not for fulfilling promises beforehand would have seen mass rioting.

 

While small riots have sprung up in the cities deep within Britannia, high support has mainly come from the borders and overcrowded areas alike. The law is as follows:

National Britannian Service which is normally the choice between paid military service for one and a half years or unpaid community service has been changed to mandatory paid military service for able-bodied personal. The limited service options will be changed to suit the desire to avoid combat however, spots are limited. The law will go into effect immediately and anyone currently serving community service will be transferred to the military for a designated amount of time.
