The hell is wrong with some people? IRL threats and assault like that are criminal and for very good reason! The fact that it was for a stupidly low amount of money is irrelevant, this is so far beyond unacceptable.

Heck, if he wanted 50 million he could have just paid Alex and supported the game instead of paying a criminal to dox someone, and it'd probably have been cheaper too. Not to mention donating doesn't come with jail time and a felony criminal record. This isn't funny, not even slightly.

I'm gratified at least to see nobody's taking this lightly. Please report this to the police, especially if your girlfriend was attacked physically. Stay safe indeed, the perpetrator is clearly dangerously crazy.

This is my third go round at this game, yet across the 3 years that I have been involved in this community, this is perhaps the worst thing that I have seen come out of this. I can't fathom why a person would try to sell out personal details of someone, online - to threaten to disclose photos, names or social-media accounts is just sickening. I have no doubt, that nearly everyone in this community would hate for this to happen to them - particularly those among us who are minors and for whom disclose such information could present a genuine risk.

It does, however, say something, when most of you guys have been both helpful and concerned. It's at odds with some of the impressions people have of online discourse and goes to show how, aside from the few who take it upon themselves to be tools, most of the people here are genuinely solid individuals.

Finally, it's a damn shame to lose two fine players, like you two. I wish you both the best for the future and am simply sad that it had to end this way. Stay safe.

Doxxing in itself isn't illegal however threatening to dox someone unless they "pay" something falls under extortion (which is illegal).  It could be illegal as well if the information was obtained illegally (duh).  This situation could very well be referred to as "Cyber Stalking" which is a criminal offense.  It really depends on the state but typically "Cyber Stalking" would be classified as the following.

  • harassment, embarrassment and humiliation of the victim
  • emptying bank accounts or other economic control such as ruining the victim's credit score
  • harassing family, friends and employers to isolate the victim
  • scare tactics to instill fear and more

As others have stated previously, you need to get in contact with your local law enforcement especially if they are calling your phone (or girlfriends etc) and making threats. It's unfortunate someone is trying to toy with you over a text based internet game but the important part is ensuring that there are consequences for this behavior including but not limited to in-game ban and legal ramifications.

If those of you responsible for this are reading, I hope you do the right thing and turn yourselves in.

Absolutely no place for this, ever. Never mind over an online game with nothing of importance at stake.

Shame to see you both go, Freya and Creed, but hope that with a bit of time out of the game, you’ll find some measure of peace and realisation that these are the actions of some shitty people; not everyone is like this. I know it can be severely damaging experience, mentally, so take some time to get right after this.

Good luck and we’ll be thinking of you.

That's good on you folks, but if Camelot wasn't involved - why did the 50mil go to them in the first place?

Either there's a past connection there or they know someone in Camelot to help them benefit from this.

That's assuming Camelot's implicated on all of this. I can't fathom them doing something like this and risking the potential backlash that it'd generate (not to mention the obvious shittyness of doing such a thing from a moral standpoint) over what's effectively chump change of essentially worthless money.

I find it more likely that someone's trying to drive a wedge between t$ and IQ by proxy of their protectorates, and they thought that making Camelot the target alliance would've made for a plausible scenario.

I honestly find this whole thing more and more concerning as i try not to think about it lol
I mean assuming that this could be potentially untrue, or that it wasnt directly stemmed from pnw raises a bunch of concerns on its own but none of which would create a cause for me to worry much about myself.
with that said though, if theres any truth to this and it being stemmed from an individual amongst our community it brings great concern to me, i mean i dont consider myself a valued or integral part of this community but im here none the less, i play here as would any dedicated hobbyist does their hobbies. My wife plays this game, My little brother and one of my best friends were also invited to this game by me and as a father i have already considered trying to invite my oldest here when it comes to a more appropriate age lol (unless the wife says no because of all you scare porn addicts out there in discord land)
So yeah, i mean if there's anything we can do to help prevent these things and even support creeds time of distress id love to engage in that.
idk the legalities behind it all, but i would at least like to see the persons supposedly involved outed at least if that's at all possible.

i would love to not feel like theres a major risk to ones personal life while i continue to invite my family and friends to play this game i spend waaay to much time giving attention to in the first place. Cant really see anyone ever being able to use any doxxed info against me personally lol mostly because im already deplorable enough lol ?

From my understanding of it, either

1. Someone in Camalot without banking perms (aka no power) did it.

2. Someone is trying to use past ... differences to their advantages to spark a conflict

The reason I come to this conclusion is for a few factors. Firstly why would you dox someone and make them send the money to your own alliance bank so it would get you caught and prob banned? Next the money was returned, so the player who did it was either not in Camalot or did not have banking perms to intercept the money... aka non gov. Not to mention the talks ive had with a few people, Creed himself stating he thinks Camalot had nothing to do with it.

However if it turns out they did for whatever reason, im sure the leader of Camalot would be happy to deal with the issue, providing there is proof, additionally im sure BK would never stand for actions like this by our protectorates... @Thanosis free to reply if he wishes, but im sure he will say about the same thing I am now.

On a side note, its not impossible someone is trying to use this to start a larger war, T$ and BK have already shown we are willing to stand by our protectorates and throw down if needed. The idea could have been to frame Camalot, get them hit and cause BK counters so T$ would have to counter our counters.

Legally speaking doxxing someone under the age of 18 is a criminal offense and would most definitely be pursued to the most extreme extent; if they are willing to play stupid games then I can assure you they will definitely win stupid prizes.

^ this, an alliance such as Camelot has no reason to destroy their reputation over 50 million, heck, even if it were 50 billion it still wouldn't be worth it.

This looks more like a failed attempt to defame Camelot than anything else, stay safe Creed!
