Woe for a working Inbox

Had this problem for about a year or something now, just kinda forgot to mention it.

In the past I've tried messing around with changing settings or whatever, but nothing I found seemed to fix it - either I'm missing something obvious or it's an issue that isn't to do with me.

This is the page I am greeted with when visiting my IG inbox:

Obviously all the messages are now blank because that's a thing apparently, but I still keep the messages favourited around because I can still remember what the messages said if I can see the message titles.

All these messages used to be right at the back of the inbox, whilst new messages would logically be the first ones you see when going to the inbox, however a while back this stopped being the case (see first image). 

Clicking on the 'forward a page' button leads me to this:

Whilst 'back a page' would do the same.

Up until now I have been inserting '1' in to this box as a means of finding unread messages:

Although as of today doing that no longer returns anything:

So as far as I can see there's now no way for me to see any new messages, which isn't exactly helpful. Ideally I'd like to be able to see messages again without having to delete my saved (albeit blank) messages. Cheers.

It was a temporary bug as I was trying to fix something with messages. It should have resolved itself within a few hours of you posting this.
