Popular Post The Royalist
Following their latest battle, the Empyreans traveled around their war torn lands to survey the damage. The costs had been great, yet the citizens were industrious, and as such much of what they found was once again clean and pristine. None more so than the great statue to Rozalia, marking the spot of the transcendence of the Son of Heaven, glittering in the sun with a bright golden hue. As they finally headed for home they saw two vast armies approaching from the north. As they drew closer they saw these forces in more detail: a mongolian horde, carrying weapons stained with the blood of Lordship’s Manly Concubines (in many places we would know these as soldiers but you can find nothing that straight forward in the New Radiant Empire). With them were an army of white-dressed knights wearing a red cross on each of their shields and tunics. They too, were stained with blood, this blood however was that of some mortally embarrassed proletariat. Fearing for his people, The Royalist shouted out to his followers “Load the war machines, we must fire upon them while we still can!” “Wait!” cried James. “What, you fool? Oh a white flag. Very well then”. The leaders of each of the orders made camp and there they stayed for almost a week, in which time they feasted and drank and talked about their people, and the daily duties they must complete in order for their for their empires to thrive. The Royalist soon discovered the many great deeds of both the Horde and the Knights, and recalling the stories James would tell with wide-eyes, he realised the similarities they shared with these new visitors. ‘We never back down to the wrongs in this world!’ said the great Buorkhan with pride. ‘Our duties are to guard the holy land from the heathens waiting to plunder them.’ added Theodosius. ‘I assume you are here for something more than feasting and chit chat.’ Said The Royalist quietly. ‘Very well then, as The Royalist has interrupted me from my drinking and the rest of you from feasting, shall we begin? We have come here for a reason indeed” was the reply. “We have more important business to discuss than to simply relive great battles with such agreeable company.” The Royalist looked around to see who had begun to talk and noticed what seemed to be a 13 year old African girl talking at the head of the table. On closer inspection he realised this was in fact Sketchy: The Horde’s Mighty Beklare-Bek. “We are looking to expanding our borders, to meet new friends, and when we had heard that the Great Rozalia was in neighbouring lands we saw an excellent opportunity. When we found out Rozalia was no longer with us, and in his stead were his successors, we figured you couldn’t be too bad, and more or less worthy enough of sitting at the same table with us” Someone…” Keegoz, The Chancellor of the Knights began to continue to the speech, however now that he’d had finished talking, Sketchy had stood up from the table, and with many eyes following him, wandered over to where most of the fun was taking place and began to dance and do god only knows what, for the many women in the tent that were there for this feast. Clawing their eyes away from this spectacle, the rest continued to talk, and it was not until the early hours of the morning that they come to an amicable agreement. Empyrea would join The Golden Horde and Knights Templar in their quest. tl;dr Empyrea alters their paperless stance, maintaining mostly the same FA outlook, but signing MDPs exclusively with TGH and KT.
