Allow Ships To Fire On Airplanes When Airstriked

Very simple and may have been suggested earlier(as it seems like common sense).  Modern ships are equipped with air defense mechanisms and this should be illustrated in this game by allowing ships to defend during an airstrike.  Obviously, make the ships less effective than the airplanes, but allow them to fight back(as is realistic) rather than keeping them as sitting ducks that they tend to be.

Thank you.

It wouldn't be amiss for soldiers and tanks to function similarly; between these things

aircraft probably shouldn't be quite so invulnerable as they are now.

And before we get back into the realism argument about air weapons being longer ranged than ship weapons, remember that our aircraft are made of aluminum and are using gasoline power and lead munitions; they are not modern titanium-alloy supersonic jet fighters using missiles that can hit targets from beyond the horizon. (Though to be fair, that means our ships are made of steel and are not space-age rocket cruisers either.)
