Mandystalin
Having my very first war, raiding an inactive. Ran a Ground Battle, and the short battle report said they lost 0 troops and tanks, but the detailed report said they did lose some. Same thing happened the next time I ran a ground battle. Obvious points - yes the nation does not have any troops or tanks, but it did have troops and tanks when I started, and they did how up on the pre-battle screen. However it didn't have any armed troops (presumably no munitions?), so I'm wondering if the two battle reports pick up their troop/tank data from different places? Also my nation page does not credit me with any troop/tank kills. So am I killing anything? Which report is correct?
AwesomeNova
I think your getting casualties from the resisting population.
Thalmor
It's not stated anywhere in-game, but when launching a ground attack, a very small number the defender's population is given a combat value to vaguely represent a resisting population, like AwesomeNova said. These 'resistors' don't count towards combat stats when killed and the defender's population isn't reduced either.
Mandystalin
And that includes tanks? What happened to the actual tanks & soldiers he had which disappeared?
