The Loss of Louisiana: Is This Good For the Long Run?

Time: 2:00 A.M.
Location: State of Louisiana

An American family wake up to the bright lights outside as the sound of a motorized vehicles moves by their homes. A teenaged boy groggily walked to a switch in the living room to turn on the lights, but the light weren't turning on. He frantically tried to turn it on as a man, woman, and child entered the room in confusion. They turned a battery-powered radio and listened to it as a automated voice speaks to them:

"This is a message of the United States Government. All Americans must leave the State of Louisiana within 72 hou-" The man turned off the radio. The family quickly packed up everything that they can within that 72 hours in a U-Haul truck and their car as other did the same. Some couldn't afford it and had to leave behind things that they can't put into their car. Most of them moved to nearby Texas and Arkansas and southern Pennsylvannia. Others stayed, refusing to move. Military building stood where these new home would be.
