Blackjack

Seems like a good idea for me, money will really go to someone else, not just perish. The bad side is that both persons would have to be online at same time and it would be very long in comparision to dice/keno.

You play Blackjack against the dealer (the server, in this case), and there's really no strategy. There's an optimal way to play the game where you maximize the odds of winning. No one (for any good reason) would play the game any way other than the way that maximizes their chances of winning.

Even then, your odds are still about 1:1 for winning/losing. Might as well just add a coin-flip game instead, it would be simpler (less work) and have the same effect. But wait, we already have two games that are basically 'coin flip' games, just more nuanced: Keno & Dice. Just play those.

But I can make like 2:1 Odds with blackjack. And with things like counting cards, and probability, u can severely raise the odds

23:38 Skable that's why we don't want Rose involved, so we can take the m all for ourselves

23:39 [] but Mensa is the cute girl at the school dance and she's only dancing with us right now to get our friend jealous

23:39 [] If Rose comes in and gives Mensa what she wants, she'll just toss us aside and forget we ever existed

23:39 zombie_lanae yeah I do hope we can keep having them all to ourselves

23:40 zombie_lanae I know it's selfish but I want all their love

6:55 PM <+Isolatar> Praise Dio

Pubstomper|BNC [20:01:55] Rose wouldn't plan a hit on Mensa because it would be !@#$ing stupid

I'm sorry but how are either of those games, wherein mind you your own probability tables indicate a greater than 50% chance to lose, much greater even - equivalent to a coin toss?

I'd actually prefer a coin toss to... 66.67% chance to lose on dice and 74.1% on keno. I get casino games are rigged in favor of the house, but you're talking a minimum of 16% edge to the house, which is pretty damn high even for casino games that usually have a high edge like that.

Bake em away, Toys!

I agree that a 'Blackjack' game is just a waste of resources that could be better spent with implementing features that actually effect the game.

Still waiting on those Perks... >_>
