Hao Huiyu
When she was born, Sima Shi wasn't expecting to one day lead a nation. Well, most babies haven't figured that kind of thing out, just that this was particularly far from her mind. Still either way, here she was. Here she was, facing an entourage of reporters, not really in a palace - they didn't have any spare ones lying around and, as lovely as palaces tended to be, it seemed a bit garish to spin one up just for this Royal family. It was a decent office, that couldn't be debated, but not quite a regal palace. Maybe another time. Her portion of the speech was coming to a close. Largely generic, but true, items of discussion; commitment to the people, to world peace, to general prosperity... surely these things should go without saying, but apparently not explicitly saying them made you an enemy of them. It'd been lonely after her parents died, only cousins around, which made people see Shi as some kind of semi-martyr. This brave young woman, they said. Leading this new collective to success, they said. Takes the best from her parents and more. They said. She mentally shrugged. "This is where things are at now.", she thought to herself. And it was time to get things moving. Closing up the speech was easy. "Rì", she uttered. And that was it.
