Aesir
William Scarlett was by no means a saint. He was a flawed man, but nonetheless he was considered a great man. He was the first Governor of the new Montana and it was due to his actions that the State had a chance in this new world. He had led a joint task force to subdue to communists to his south and from there established Montana as the local power. However all was not good, as today was a somber day. Today was his funeral. Mary Scarlett was the new Governor, taking the title from her father. She wore her best dress and boots as she prepared, though both were simple. Her long blonde hair was braided and her striking blue eyes looked over the crowd as she prepared her first address of her people. "People of Montana todat we mourn the death of a great man, our State's Governor and my own father. He led our people to secure our borders and aid our neighbors. He will always be remembered. His dream of a powerful Montana has ben realized. We are strong enough to survive in this new world. My father is smiling down upon us now. He has joined our ancestors and will guide us in the coming future. We will forge a legacy for the ages! The Great State lives!"
