TJ-IQ War: Damages Reports

VE, BK, and Zodiac definitely put effort into this.  Acadia couldn't do much as they were usually getting targeted due to their higher tier being alienated from the rest of the Bloc it seemed.

Not sure on Cornerstone or NPO (the latter seemingly looking to avoid it).

Lordaeron had some nations prepped.  Not sure if that's a usual build in their cities, but it did make it hard to pick them out as they could've built up and pinned any nations that declared on them.

It was rather interesting seeing all of the alliances having a different approach despite having similar starting military builds.

30 billion in damages...

Good f*cking game.

The memes were great too, amusing that the first war i get to watch in Orbis is a bunch of shitposters going postal on an entire bloc. A true sight to have beholden in memory.

Truly, a most glorious culture victory.

We you just created and excel sheet with the TKR stats for the war with Arrgh with the basic units killed + infra and loot and Ripper comes out with a NASA tier stat page with the minutes of porn watched by every player waiting before the update

Why you were born? Well now everyone makes mistakes don't think too hard on it. :P

Congrats guys. Looks fun for both sides. Seeing the different strategy usage was interesting. 30 billion is pretty huge. Does this mean it is all done and closed or will these stats change still?

Any other conflict will be part of another war. Terminal Jest is no more. Even if its ex-members get hit, we will get a different conflict, like in the case of IoM, were players ghosting TJ went back to their alliance.

What? That's the summary, Micchan. :v

Well you don't need more than the summary for a war where the top player for tanks destroyed has 4180 and the top for air destroyed has 415 (stats updated almost a day ago)

Told you. :P

An estimation was made for the average value of infra, as if all infra was distributed in sets of 100 at 1.1k to 1.2k infra cities or so.

Yeah...I really doubt that's an accurate reflection of the damages taken. Your spreadsheet uses $6009 per level of infrastructure, but most combatants had at least 2k infra at the onset of the war. Assuming that infra-bombing stopped at 800 infra, that's $11313 per level of infra, or nearly twice as much. TJest still outperforms IQ (to nobody's surprise), but the money looted pads a smaller portion of the damage sustained.

Considering I even got 1k infra cities nuked, I can argue against this. :v

Keep in mind that around 240k infra damage caused by IQ was from nukes, which means we got around 140 transitions from 300 infra to 2k infra. Also, infra-bombing never stopped at 800 infra in many cases, for the TJ members that got neutralized early in the war.

However, indeed, I may have to work more on the formula and provide and average infra cost for each alliance, considering that e.g. Acadia had much higher infra levels than e.g. NPO. Something I am considering is calculating the damage of nukes first with a standard infra level in mind (e.g. 2.2k for TJest and 1.8k for IQ) and then getting the rest of the damage evenly distributed to the number of cities of all combatants, keeping in mind the original average infra level, coming from the average infra per city of each alliance from historical data before the war.

If there are any other suggestions, I am all ears. ^_^

I totally nuked some 1k Cities.  I know I wasted nukes, but those were all paid for from the loots I got.  Plus people keep spy killing my Soldiers for some strange reason instead of the nukes I had.

I went ahead and calculated for each nation exactly the value of the sustained infra damage. As you predicted, the real value was double that of my original estimation. Thanks for your comment.

-Cornerstone is 20 times worse than than TJ and only a sixth of the way to mediocre.

This is definitely more accurate.

That last fight with you was so much fun, and such a close-fought thing. It wasn't easy keeping you pinned down. Especially with the other wars we were fighting.

This entire war was fun.

Agreed. You all staggered/coordinated your attacks and activity beautifully, may we meet again!
