That's actually a good question. I didn't start the war with a good warchest at all, let alone I only had a 2-3 day build on military (I was given a very short notice on a potential fight). If I recall, I started with around 4/5k of each war resource (Which is pathetic admittedly), and since then I've been strictly fighting off of what I've been looting. Since I've been zeroed mostly, I don't spend much in resources when fighting. The double buys hurt my Steel/Alum intake, but every time I get low - I somehow manage to hit a jackpot and keep going. They won't beige me, and it's smart not to beige - but I've been making it work in my favor. Right now I can open up battles on lower score people then overcome them on double buys, so this can go on for awhile. EDIT: At one point I had around $120mil on me while I was pinned down on blockades. I'm glad they didn't beige me then. I managed to pull off a $30mil in one round of beiging people and I gambled it on Dice, which I kept winning there too. >< So right now I have a upgraded Baseball team, some new Land, and blew the rest on Keno to be like @Micchan. If only they wouldn't blockade me, I'd give them the money back on the market by buying their supplies. I can fully understand it, although I know there is a much better one (a really obvious one) which you will have to think on your own. "Value" is the cost of the units destroyed/used (e.g. nukes) and the loots. Infra cost is not included yet. Bank loots, gas/munitions consumption during operations and lost resources due to selling troops (e.g. to downdeclare) are also not included.
