The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom (UK) and colloquially Great Britain (GB) or the British Empire (BE) when referring to all the land under British Administration, is a sovereign country in western Europe. Lying off the north-western coast of the European mainland, the United Kingdom includes the island of Great Britain, the island of Ireland and many smaller islands. The United Kingdom is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, with the North Sea to its east, the English Channel to its south and the Celtic Sea to its south-south-west, giving it one of the longest coastlines in the world. The Irish Sea lies between Great Britain and Ireland. With an area of 242,500 square kilometres (93,600 sq mi). It is also one of the most populous country, with an estimated 65.5 million inhabitants.

The United Kingdom is a absolute monarchy with a parliamentary democracy. The monarch is King George VII, who has reigned since May 5th, 2012. The capital of the United Kingdom and its largest city is London, a global city and financial center with an urban area population of 10.3 million, one of the largest in Europe. Other major urban areas in the United Kingdom include the conurbations centered on Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool and Manchester. The United Kingdom consists of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. The last three have devolved administrations, each with varying powers, based in their capitals, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast, respectively. The nearby Isle of Man, Bailiwick of Guernsey and Bailiwick of Jersey are not part of the United Kingdom, being Crown dependencies with the British Government responsible for defense and international representation and therefore are apart of the British Empire.

The United Kingdom is a developed country and has one of the world's largest economies by nominal GDP and large economy by purchasing power parity. The UK is considered to have a high-income economy and is categorised as very high in the Human Development Index, ranking 12th in the world. It was the world's first industrialised country and the world's foremost power during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The UK remains a great power with considerable economic, cultural, military, scientific and political influence internationally. The remnants of the British Empire which, at its height in the 1920s, encompassed almost a quarter of the world's land mass and was the largest empire in history. British influence can be observed in the language, culture and legal systems of many of its former colonies. Though with a brand new Monarch, England is seen to be on the rise again with militarization going up. King George VII’s first speech included talks of restoring the British Empire to its height. Returning it to, “the Empire in which the sun never sets.”

Foreign Relations: N/A, United Kingdom has no formal relations with any nation other the British Crown Colonies which are directly administered by the Crown of the British Empire

Military: The armed forces of the United Kingdom—officially, His Majesty's Armed Forces—consist of three professional service branches: the Royal Navy and Royal Marines (forming the Naval Service), the British Army and the Royal Air Force.[215] The forces are managed by the Ministry of Defense and controlled by the Defense Council, chaired by the Secretary of State for Defense. The Commander-in-Chief is the British monarch, George VII, to whom members of the forces swear an oath of allegiance. The Armed Forces are charged with protecting the UK and its Colonies, promoting the UK's global security interests and supporting international peacekeeping efforts.

Economy: The UK has a partially regulated market economy. Based on market exchange rates, the UK is today one of the largest economies in the world. HM Treasury, led by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, is responsible for developing and executing the government's public finance policy and economic policy. The Bank of England is the UK's central bank and is responsible for issuing notes and coins in the nation's currency, the pound sterling. Banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland retain the right to issue their own notes, subject to retaining enough Bank of England notes in reserve to cover their issue.

Brief History: (All history is RL until 2011)

November 2011, Exiled Bastard nephew Christian Gourley, once heir to the Lordship of Edinburgh, saw major issues within the Empire. Being exiled for being a bastard, Christian swore to have his revenge. Noticing a major decline in the United Kingdom, he saw an opportunity. After returning to Scotland and claiming the throne of his native land, he rallied Scotland to declare Independence. In May 2012, Scotland would gain independence and soon after unite with Ireland to form the United Kingdom of Scotland and Ireland. While the newly established Kingdom of England would slowly decline and become subject to the UK of Scotland and Ireland. Queen Elizabeth would bow before Crown Prince Christian before being executed for treason against the British Empire. With the nations reunited, the Crown Prince would be crowned, His Royal Highness, King George VII of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and Emperor of the British Empire. In August 2015, three years after, King George VII would invade Belgium and reincorporate the nation into the British Empire. This being apart of his master plan to reunite the British Empire to its former glory.

Government and Administration of the United Kingdom and the entirety of the British Empire

The Monarchy of the British Empire is absolute and shall not be questioned. The current monarchy consists solely of His Royal Highness, King George VII. Who is unmarried and has no living heirs to the throne. The Monarchy, up until 2011 was Limited and Constitutional. Once, the coup of 2011 took place the monarchy was reinvented as the nation itself was reinvented. King George VII, originally Christian, Archduke of Edinburgh. Was nephew to then, Queen Elizabeth who was his great aunt. He was exiled after being discovered to be a bastard son, and that the bloodline of the royalty was tainted. Years later he would return and stage a coup d'etat. Then named Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Scotland and then the United Kingdom of Scotland and Ireland. Upon the ascension to the monarchy he would take the name of his Great great uncle, King George VI. When named taking the monarchy formally, and the establishment of the new British Empire. He would be named King George VII, seventh of his name, first of his House.
Parliament of the United Kingdom, though for a time King George VII has dismantled parliament, in 2012 he renewed it and called for open and fair elections. In which a constitution would be drafted under the pretense that the power of the monarchy could not be limited for the betterment of the future for the Empire. Parliament would be elected, with multiple parties elected, a coalition between two leading parties(Liberal Conservative Party, and the Conservative Christian Leadership Party) to form the Leftist Right Movement Party. David Bennett, was made leader of the party later during elections. When parliament was finally called to order, he was named Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. His Royal Highness delegated many powers on the homefront to Parliament and approved of Prime Minister Bennett's appointment to the position. King George VII and Prime Minister David had known each other long before the election and therefore got along very well, King George VII knew he could count on the newly appointed Prime Minister to run things the way he liked it. King George would have parliament set up administrative districts all across the United Kingdom and would have privy councils be set up and Royal Governors appointed to oversee Colonies of the Crown. Depending on population, a colony could also have one person elected to represent them in Parliament. All Colonies were directly administered by the appointed Royal Governors who acted on behalf of the King and had total control over said colony, therefore, any territory under in the British Empire was therefore directly under control of the Monarchy.

(1st image, Bermuda flag)(2nd image, Union Jack flying over capital of Bermuda)

With the treaty involving the United States and the British Empire, governmental responsibilities of Bermuda were transferred over to the UK. Restoring it to the status of Crown Colony of the British Empire. During the transition of power, a small pocket of nationalists in Bermuda took the opportunity to seize control of the Island. Creating the "Republic of Bermuda". Though not wanting to use force at first, the might of the British Empire would have to be flexed to regain control as negotiations were failing.

Naval Forces out side readied for beach landing, and commenced exercises as scare tactic. Ordered to train weapons upon the small rebellion strong hold at the out historic Fort Saint Catherine.

Troops ordered not to fire any weapons unless fired upon landed on the beaches to march on the Fort. Two Bermuda nationalist rebels were killed, One Royal Marine was injured but living. Rebel forces immediately surrendered.

Afterwards, with the Fort secured. Most Civilians would line the street cheering with the return of British Troops after a long time of seeing them gone. During the celebration, royal troops would march down the streets to the capital where the Union Jack would be hung. Marking the beginning of the rise for the new British Empire.

In other news, a Mutual Defense Treaty was signed with the Regime. Known as the British-Regime Alliance. Later the United States would be included in said Alliance as a protectorate of the two great nations. Other treaties, mainly economic and NAP's are underway. King George VII is said to visit the Regime soon though, and afterwards meet up with the British Prime Minister, David Bennett in Paris to meet with French Government Leadership and Officials. That is all for British news recently.

(OOC: Idk^ how that last post got so messed up in terms of spoilers, but just keep opening them to read the rest of that said post)
