You follow your normal routine, going to your nation page, hovering over the delete nation button for 5 minutes wondering if today is the day you'll summon the willpower to press it and escape this monotonous hellhole. And that is when you see it. Next to the Changelog tab on your sidebar, the little red text that says "new".

You triple check the date, making sure it isn't just Alex's routine end of the month credit shilling, but nope its the middle of the month. You hesitantly press the button, hoping and praying Alex just wanted to remind us he made a subscription plan and its doing very well, please buy soon before the price goes up. But nope, he has released a game update, and its terrible.

A poorly balanced mess, you logon to the forums, and scroll through the pages of ravenous players rioting over another one of Alex's broken surprises. You see a post from the man himself, saying "oops my bad I dunno why it isn't working hurr durr". You quickly work out the issue though, and decide to be a good samaritan and bring it to Alex's attention.

Alex, grateful you solved the single greatest issue in the world today, bestows upon you 3 wishes.

Wish 1: You choose a single alliance in the game, and he will delete them. No one will ever be able to reform it under that name, or using that flag, and the leaders of that alliance will never be able to join in-game governments again.

Wish 2: Alex will force a single alliance of your choosing to declare war in-game on another alliance of your choosing, using all their offensive slots to hit as many people as possible. All wars will be locked open, fortify will be disabled, and peace offers will not be usable. The wars can only end in beige. Additionally, all people fighting will have their incomes halved until they have completed their wars.

Wish 3: Alex will allow you to choose a single alliance, and have each one of their members lose a single city. You could choose an alliance with more members so they lose more cities, or you could choose an alliance with a higher average city count, so the cost is larger.

#1 Pantheon, alliance that's not fulfilling its potential due to current poor leadership. 

 

#2 TKR on NPO. Two big boys have to sort it out amongst themselves somehow somewhat. 

 

#3 Guardian. OP top tiered alliance needs to lose its superiority.

This is actually pretty good.

#1 Really hard choice, honestly.  VE/GoG, SK, Syndicate, UPN - all of the previous giants in the game just clinging on.  The vindictive part of me would be BK or SK though, despite them having a couple of good folks.

#2 I like the BK/Rose rematch, that would be interesting.  I'd also say KT and NPO.  That way we can see what KT can do against a stubborn opponent.  Or NK to actually hit anybody.

#3 Uh, this wish kinda sucks, but I'll go with... TKR, so just they can drop further down and be in range with more opponents.  Make any planning easier score-wise.  Or Guardian, either or.  You people and climbing up... yeesh.  All the fun is down here in the 12-16 city range.

I pick better wishes as these are pure crap.

 

Wish 1: I get the option to launch all the nukes in the world at once.

Wish 2: I get the option to strap all my nukes onto one rocket that can ruin an entire nation. That nation is Fat Hairy Ape.

Wish 3: I get to not read these posts....but sadly for me, I already did.

1) HBE, because it would be hilarious and no longer seeing hades in government is definitely a bonus. Honorable mention: Acadia, and then I wouldn't need to see George Clooney of NAC ever again, also since it was a merge into Acadia, good riddance to North American Confederacy as well so this is like 2 in 1 deal.

2) NPO, because then we would have a war finally and it would be a pretty epic blitz. TKR also would be a good choice for the exact same reason.

3) Pantheon, because they just build more and more cities and don't really do anything but I would honestly be fine with GOB as well.

That honestly would've been fun.  Being a part of both communities, it was odd how much alike we were in some areas (Mostly figuring out ways to be more efficient as a force).

1) Zodiac because they’re a bumbling mess of nations that provide nothing to the game. Considering their average score is like 500-700 below every other IQ alliance I think it shows how well they’re doing. Second choice would be Cornerstone because they just suck and need to disband already. Third would be TFP because they’re incredibly mediocre in every way. 

2) NPO vs KT. It’d be interesting to see how KT, who has pretty active membership and great IA fares against a better tiered alliance like NPO, but who is also less active. Second choice would be SK or KT vs Guardian. Both SK and KT have vastly improved in the past months so to see how they fare against an alliance that is as good at war as Guardian would be cool. Third would be a built up Arrgh vs maybe Rose or t$ cus that would be fun.

3) Any high tier alliance purely for the tears. 

Edit: Also for #3 I’d pick NPO just to make them shell out billions to bump more people to city 14
