War Overhaul

First of all, sorry for reacting to this a bit later than I should have. I'm aware about the changes there will be for the war system, and I have to say, I'm not a big fan of it. But I'm not a loser who just rants without giving a solution. I've been thinking of a gameplay change for a long while. Instead of changing how wars work, why not change how units work? Like how units interact with each other and such

 

So I think units types should be more specific and I've come up with some ideas, such as:

 

Infantry

- regular infantry (no bonus, cheap)

- rocket infantry (bonus vs vehicles, can damage enemy aircraft attempting an airstrike, consumes more ammo)

- sniper/assasain (bonus vs infantry, consumes more ammo)

- marine (can damage ships attempting to attack)

- hero (bonus vs all units, can damage any attacking unit, limited number)

 

Vehicles

- IFV (bonus vs infantry)

- tank (bonus vs vehicles)

- artillery (can attack a specific target like aircraft can, easier to destroy than tanks)

 

Aircraft

- fighter (bonus vs aircraft)

- bomber (bonus vs ships)

- gunship (bonus vs vehicles)

 

Ships

- destroyer (can damage enemy planes attempting an airstrike)

- carrier (provides additional fighters)

- battleship (I haven't thought of a bonus yet)
