This week is considered as the most important and the most crowded week in the United States. As for this week, the United States held the largest Election in the world. About 4,000 candidates from six political parties run for the House, Senate and Presidential election, along with 400 candidates for Electoral College from 6 states.

The international observers from global NGOs (such as Transparency International and Freedom House) and representatives from various countries were also invited to observe this large and fair election. One of the most common representatives to see is representatives from Basparian Democratic Republic. They are almost found in every voting ballot in the United States

Meanwhile in the various Social Networking Services, the #ElectionDay and #VoteForFuture became a world-wide trending topic in twitter and other social networking services. About 12 Million tweets recorded on the E-Day according to statement from Corporate Communications Director of Twitter Inc. Richard Johnson when interviewed at his office on Digital Media City, Seoul Capital Area.

Before the Election day, various researchers make a poll to predict the winner of this election. Most of them predicted that Social Democratic Party / Democrats will win this election with a landslide victory over the House, Senate and Presidency. The current President Lee Young-suk is estimated to continue his second term.

Legislative Election, House of Representative and Senate

The Election occurred for four days. Day one is the election for Representatives of the House of Representatives, Day two is the election for Senators of the Senate, Day three is for Presidential Election and Electoral College, and Day four is chances for Presidential Electors to pass their votes. The result will be announced on the next day.

The Election procedures in the United States are a little different with elections at other nations. The Election used closed-proportional list, so the voters voted for a political party instead of a single candidate for House of Representatives and the Senate. Although, the voters were able to see the candidates nominated by each political party on their official website or at the Voting Ballot.

The citizens who desire to vote only need to tap their Nexus Identity Card and enter the PIN (Personal Identification Number) of their Nexus Card on Electronic Ballot before give votes, or enter the number of your Nexus Identity Card in the election website (election-usa.us) if your State is using Internet Voting System before voting.

Important note          : There are different voting systems, 3 states were using Electronic Ballots and 3 states were using Internet Voting System. Citizens gave their votes according to system adopted on their state.

In a Democratic state, the fools have right to vote for their rulers. In an Authoritarian state, the fools rule against the rights.
