But Pantheon still protects you

Pantheon doesn't determine our FA. In fact, one of the things I've appreciated and respected most of Pantheon is that they've been fine with us determining our own FA path and have given us a lot of freedom in that aspect. They've been wonderful protectors.

Do protectors normally try and control the FA path of their protectorates? That's kind of shitty.

So when does the baby splitting come into play?

"There's nothing you can know that isn't known,
Nothing you can see that isn't shown,
There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be,
All you need is love,
Love is all you need."

Typically no more or less than allies do to each other. I mean, if Mensa signed NPO tomorrow some alarm bells would be going off.

Thats not a easy answer. There is 2 ways to deal with it

"I dont need to ask my protectors! "-  You can sign what ever you want but if you !@#$ up, they may drop you and you get raided and die

"I will ask if its ok" - If you ask them they generally dont care unless you plan on signing someone really stupid and you get to keep your protector

Oh wait that is easy, the answer is no but ask anyways

Generally, protectees should be mindful of what they do with FA as to avoid putting their protector in a weird spot. It's just courtesy.
