War Range Calculation Delay

There is a significant delay between a change in my nation score and an update of attackability on other nations.

By example, if I decommission military units to attack down, it takes a few minutes to be able to do so because it doesn't correctly calculate. At the very least, when I click on "Declare War" it should redo the calculation, even if it doesn't display the graphic on the page.

Apparently it doesn't update until I refresh my own nation page? Wat?

I'm guessing the Nation Score is cached so it doesn't have to be calculated every time it's used. If you test it, you'll probably find that it updates when anyone visits your nation page or your API nation page.

Wouldn't it make sense to at least update it when I click declare war?

wait so if i decom all my troops in the middle of a war, as long as i don't look at my nation page, my score will stay artificially high?

thats fun info to have.

Need to test whether it refreshes *only* if you view your own page, or also if someone else views it... And if there is some tick, whether turn or otherwise, that refreshes it even if a view hasn't happened after some period of time.

it refreshes when someone else views it as well

I will take responsibility for what I have done, if I must fall, I will rise each time a better man.

Has anyone tried that? Does it actually work?

We spent a while testing it once and it seemed to work. However, API pages will always report the true score. So I can't think of any practical reason to actually do a Schrodinger's militarization like that.
