As a note before we begin, you must be wondering why the National Flag of Britannia is displayed rather than the Imperial Flag. The answer is simple: The National Flag of Britannia is used to make an announcement from Pendragon, the capital of Britannia that will address the nation as a whole. The Imperial Flag will be moved to cover only Colonial Activity. Now to the news.

 

The Holy Britannian Empire has decided to cancel the Jerusalem Treaty after Arabia began continued action against their allies. This means that no border changes will happen, and all Arabian citizens will be deported back to their home country. While Britannia may stand accused of dishonouring their treaty, the Emperor has made it clear, "We asked for no aggressive action against our allies, we were betrayed, and so our actions are justified."

 

With the Britannian capture of Oil Fields in Arabia the Britannian Empire has become an Oil Supplier to the world. with their neutral stance on developing affairs, this means Britannia is a safe investment. With this Britannia has passed the following law.

 

Black Gold Law:

Britannia will now only supply half of their reserves they would normally supply on a daily basis. If a country wishes to take more than what they are issued, they may do so for a 15% tax on the Oil.

 

This law was passed in order to maintain the Middle Eastern Britannian Colony doesn't collapse with their isolated location. In addition, military presence in the colonies has jumped by 25%. This means not only is the standard Colonial Militia in place, there is also a Britannian Military presence.

Rokkenjima supports Britannia's decision to cancel the Treaty of Jerusalem. It was moreso a matter of when, rather than if, Arabia would break the terms of the agreement. We also offer our congratulations on obtaining a vast amount of oil, and hope to see Britannia's economy grow as a result of supplying to the world's major nations.

You have captured a tiny fraction of our fields as our major production plants lie to the east of our nation. It may be true that there is oil north of Palestine but we to have a large military precence there.
