I would like to state our official positions on two subjects as many things end up getting lost in those discussions to clear them up definitively. The most pressing is one that is related to the immediate situation in terms of an agreement between the Order and its present opposition. The other is invocation of other realms in a specific and general sense. Our stances have been misconstrued by a variety of misconceptions, some of which I will try to correct. The rejection of the initial terms by the government has had support that has been virtually unanimous. Many do not wish pay reparations at all even. However, we have been willing to negotiate from day one and had no ambitions of warring permanently. A permanent war would be a de facto state rather than an intentional decision if it were to happen. Our stance on this was misinterpreted, but the concerns about permanent warfare originated from concerns of our opposition rather than being an internal ambition. It has been an overall misunderstanding. We hold no permanent hatred of any entity nor any desire to war someone forever out of pure spite. That being said, a lot of references were made to the Order’s history of demanding reparations in topics where reparations came up. The Order in any realm has not demanded reparations in over 8 years. The referencing of those instances is a bit of a problem as it’s symptomatic of a mindset using actions committed in other realms to justify a negative predisposition. We do not expect special treatment due to our positioning anywhere else. At the same time, we do not appreciate worse treatment based on histories elsewhere. We are well aware we started from behind and are not on par statistically with the major centers of power in this world. While we have a long and rich history, it was never our intention to replicate the same things here as in other realms and we have no expectation of such. While the culture is carried over along with the name and the flag, we are not interested in making this a mere continuation of another universe. In a new realm, the potential for trying new things is something we have been excited about. The material conditions here are vastly different from any other. We are not trying to coast off our achievements elsewhere. We are here to be part of the landscape of this world and will be focusing on our future here not our past elsewhere. We hope this has clarified some of our stances and look forward to moving on from this war at some point.
