*San Florence Defense Update*

 

King Arnaldo and the High Council have asked the Council of Knights and Sentinels to send aid at the northern border of San Florence. They have accepted to send their Knights and Sentinels to the northern borders to help with the defense. Florian Military troops have been sent to aid the border patrol in the defense. San Florence are on high alarm. The Knights, Sentinels, and Military Troops are working together to also help te refugees cross safely and makr sure they are not followed by any threat.

Hungadada will send 3000 troops to help secure the border, as well as 4000 members from the Hungadada Civilians Care Society (HCCS), which will help temporarily house refugees. We will also provide 6000 tons of supplies for securing the border and 7000 tons for the refugees. If you need specific equipment/supplies, or anything else, let us know. We cannot allow this threat to overtake Orbis.

The Holy Britannian Empire has finally pulled back into Britannia

 

After a few days of searching and dodging enemy fire, the Britannian Armed Forces have successfully brought in the remaining refugees and Britannian citizens across the border. Currently we have 12 pilots KIA and 2 MIA. Overall considering the amounts of lives saved we have declared the mission a success.

(OOC: The following may seem like a lot, but it is all happening in a relatively short span of time. Roughly a dozen minutes or so. The declaration of war may come as a surprise, in fact it would not have come to this if Britannia had RPed realistic casualties. I did talk to him at length about the issues his units faced, yet he chose to RP without acknowledging what exactly he had thrown himself into situationally. In Orbit of Orbis, Nohoch Chempan of Nakbe

"Unacceptable!" Tuun Kʻabʻ Hix roared in defiance at the news of the minimal enemy casualties. It was an absurd situation, by all rights the speed and power of the Transport Crafts weaponry would allow the Knightmare Pilots no time to respond before impact. The way in which the enemy IFV's managed to escape death was so insulting that the men responsible surely must be put to death for the embarrassing display. "Are our men playing games with the enemy!? The Prince of the Tonina is in Iceland at this very moment! We cannot let the Nakbe lose face!" The King's declaration echoed throughout the fleets communication systems, causing war chants to be heard resonating all through the halls. "The enemy has incurred into our lands! Killed our warriors, and Dared to leave so unscathed!?"

A brief pause allowed one to hear the den of millions of warriors chanting "Life from Death! Life from Death!", in an untimed and eerie unison. "No! The Sons of Nakbe will Not be dishonored in this manner!" As the speech continued, the forces on the ground already started to consolidate at the northern border. "There will be war! There will be blood! We will sacrifice the sons of the primitive Britannians upon the alters!" Inside their transports, the warriors gleefully check their weapons and posture amongst themselves, allowing the bloodlust to reach its boiling point. "It is a man's role to Die, but a Man's calling to Kill! And we will do much more killing than Dying this day!"

Orbis, planet side, along the Northern and Eastern Texan Borders

Millions of warriors, hundreds of thousands of armored transports, tanks, and escorts, surface 100 meters from the border, forming a massive front all along it. They stand at the ready, linking their shielding across the entire formation, and setting up Mobile Defense Units. However, the formation does not move, not yet, they hold ground.

A Dz'onot portals into system, and forms up along side the Nohoch Chempan, unleashing a 25 AU radius FTL-Interdiction Field, restricting the FTL capabilities and allowing no enemy reinforcements to jump in, or any ships to FTL out of the field. After establishing the FTL-I, 60 Atlatl class assault ships, and 90 Chimal class shield ships jump into formation with the Nakbe fleet, setting up a spherical defensive formation. And UMS allies are contacted, asking to be on standby to aid in maintaining orbital superiority.

The Nohoch Chempan unleashes with a small 80, meter radius Mictlan Beam along the border, which burrows into the crust, ripping apart the matter there on the most base energy level, rending even ghosts caught in its path devoured and leeched as energy for the Nohoch Chempan. Creating a 80 meter wide, and 20 meter deep canyon along the border.

Orbis, planetside, Nakbe Texan Front

The Nakbe Front opens fire with Mictlan beams, the Array, Liquid Metal Streams, and Kinetic Javelines, in synchronization, targeting any Britannian forces within 300 Kilometers of the front with extreme prejudice.

Offical Statement from the Maya:
The Empire of Britannia has penetrated our borders, and opened fire upon our warriors, killing hundreds. This is an act of war, and as such we will reply with extreme prejudice. We demand that the Britannians surrender their Knightmare Pilots who operated inside Mayan Borders, and become a Tributary State of the Mayan System-State of Nakbe, in order for peace to be restored.

I would like to make it clear with my neighbors that our operation was a search and rescue, not war. Your soldiers fired upon us so we killed them accordingly. If you are so worried about losing face it should be noted you lost a mere handful of positions and less soldiers/armored position than we did.

Kinetic Javelins slam into the Britannian formations with with intense force, ripping the ground itself asunder as the shockwaves from the mere force of impact obliterate all life that is not shielded to effective standards. The liquid Metal Streams strike with intense force, digging deep into the earth, and whatever else they come into contact with, with a constant stream of heated liquid metal that impacts with continuous force at many multitudes the speed of sound. The sickly energies of the Array and Mitclan beams render enemy sheilding battered and drained as the barrage continues with no movements from the Britannian side.

The Britannians, despite being stretched thin fighting on multiple fronts, and reinforcing Sweden, apparently had not yet learned of the devastation of the Nakbe assault in the region around the Front. Frustrated by the sheer incompetence, and seeming ignorance of the Britannian government, the King of the Nakbe unleashed a declaration on open communications.
"You have 12 hours to surrender before we open fire on civilian targets."

OOC: It's kind of agreed on, but not really. This is just how things progressed. If it does bring in more, I'll do my best to fight before bringing anyone in myself. Otherwise this could turn into a massive thread splitting war. XD

Either way, having hundreds of thousands of vehicles(each one, despite classification, basically functioning as absurdly long ranged artillery) opening fire on your nation, with weaponry that's so powerful it's litterally ripping the landscape apart, is hardly getting off "scot-clean". LOL

With the target set, the massive forward Mictlan Beam, with a Diameter of 90 Kilometers, unleashed its sickly vampiric rays upon the location of the target. The beam was meant to be used against enemy capital ships, and indeed may do exceptional damage to the planet if it were to strike too close. Luckily the target was in orbit, and as such damage to the planet would remain minimal. Though if in low orbit, may still rip out a lot of earth's oxygen and atmosphere.

"Fire upon the anomalous energy that is building." Tuun Kʻabʻ Hix declared, as the Nohoch Chempan unleashed its massive firepower on the enemies claimed trump card of a weapon.

It may hold up for sometime, but the beam is constant, and so long as what is there exists, it is actually feeding the Mictlan Beam...

Meaning what you have is going to grow weaker, and weaker.

The only chance of avoiding this is if you have an infinite power supply, however, with FTL-I up, and mine is up, such a thing is not possible.

Solar power would not power that, the very light that is heading to your station is being eaten... Like, the light itself will not reach your station.

Also solar just can't provide that level of power.

 

Also Sakuradite doesn't have limitless power.
