The alliance title is a bit contradictory, I suppose. The real shame is that we don't (and also didn't) have a particularly strong top tier. Anyway, congratulations on bringing us down 10,000 points so far. Hopefully we'll start to fare better.

Just to educate you guys, our title is what is called an oxymoron. Look it up.

I want to make a retraction on something I said above about Arrgh probably being scared. There is no truth to it. There is no alliance less scared in Orbis and they have been both very good foes and very good friends. My apologies to them.

You're an oxymoron

Too right! This war is a blast. For those who thinks ships are useless have a look at the damage mine are doing. Have a look at Faendal as well.

Meh, ships are bad in that they raise your score a lot, naval superiority does nothing to affect the outcome of the battle (assuming your opponent has a decent warchest) and they cost too much for what they do.

For the majority of nations, having a low score allows them to be matched with weaker opponents, but when you have a nation in the top 10, you probably have tons of money to throw around and benefit from the extra score because it puts you out of the war range of more nations.

On the upside, naval battles do a lot of damage for the MAPs they use.

It will take a while to get rid of 255 ships. I'll do a lot more damage before they are gone.

Nay, nay.  Now that your planes are gone, we can focus solely on your ships.  You might have had a nice large navy, but what did that do to your income when you didn't need it?  Just the cost of steel alone must have been close to $16M.  Oh you'll get some damage out before we take out that fleet, but in the long run, was it really worth having?

Ships are just less effective nukes that float.

Sure, you get some damage out but you end up losing critical holds on your wars and essentially give up until your opponents decide they're done pummeling you.

They got hit by Test for reasons i dont know about, other than Test could do it and get away with it.  They should be doing as much damage as humanly possible, because they never stood a chance to begin with.

Fixed
