He is currently in hospital and in the ICU. It is unknown at this time what has caused this sudden event. As per the line of succession, I will be taking over all His Majesty's duties. Any foreign trips that were planned are now cancelled. The Emperor suddenly collapsed while at a meeting with the MoFA and was taken to the hospital immediately. All relevant authorities are investigating, and foul play is not suspected. The Ministry will keep you updated. Please pray for the Emperor's quick recovery. Thank you." UPDATE: Doctors have found dangerous chemicals in the Emperors blood. These chemicals are colourless and odorless. It is unknown how much of the chemical was ingested. The mentioned chemicals are highly toxic and should not be ingested by humans. HIS, Port Royalty Police, the DSDH and the Palace National Guard have all opened investigations. The Emperor is responding to treatment, however, he remains in the ICU, in extremely serious condition. The Netherlands offers is support to find those responsible.
