Rob Semloh
Effective immediately all male citizens of Tennessee over the age of 18 will be required to own a civilian equivalent M-4 Rifle. The XM-15 Model from civil manufacturer Bushmaster is the recommended brand, but citizens may own whichever functioning brand they wish. Female citizens above the age of 18 are highly encouraged, but not required, to acquire the M-4 civilian equivalent rifle, and all tax benefits of owning one extend to both genders at all times.Permitted modifications include standard rail mounts, bi-pod, handles, and other additional grips plus sight modifications, although iron sights are the recommended sights for austere environments. Citizens (of either gender) over the age of 18 who own their own IIIA rated body armor or greater will be given a tax break of 3% (or 5% for level IV body armor) per year on income taxes only. For reference, a standard M-4 civilian equivalent looks like this: Standard level IV body armor is generally armor with rifle plated inserts and looks like this: Additionally, citizens (of either gender) above the age of 18 are highly encouraged to attend tactical weapons training courses offered at no expense by the government of Tennessee. Thalmor
What about citizens who are unable to afford such rifles? What are the punishments for not following the new regulation? The Kingdom of The Evenstar is very much in favor of the private ownership of firearms. It's good to see other nations be so to!
Rob Semloh
What about citizens who are unable to afford such rifles? What are the punishments for not following the new regulation? The Kingdom of The Evenstar is very much in favor of the private ownership of firearms. It's good to see other nations be so to! All eligible male citizens are given one calendar year to make the acquisition complete, and firearms purchases are always completely tax deductible in Tennessee. Beyond that, a $1,000 annual tax penalty would be added to any male citizen who didn't have the requisite rifle. This excludes physically and mentally handicapped individuals and religious exemptions for registered conscientious objectors. Female citizens are highly encouraged, but not required, to acquire the same equipment and training. All tax benefits related to owning the required equipment, ammunition, body armor, and training extend to all citizens. Edited July 24, 2016 by Robert P.
