I've just upgraded from the first spoiler to the second one as the girlfriend wanted a gaming rig and I needed an excuse for a 1080. It got me curious, what's everyone else's rigs look like?

Windows 10, eh? I heard it's rather bad, what do you think of it?

I like it, feels just like Windows 7 but with some more convenient features and better optimized. I wouldn't go back.

did you build that yourself Rag?  what did it end up costing you?  I have been looking into replacing my computer which is about 5 years old or so, and I am looking into buying something VR ready.

I got it built for me from PCspecalist.com as I can't get the time to build it myself.

I also picked up a 2k moniter with a 144hz refresh rate. So all in all it's standing me about £2000 GBP. About 2.8k American.

lol it's horrible. slow, laggy and annoying features all over the place when you just want something to works

Are you sure it's not your hardware? It works fine for me. The optimization is quite good.

so it works poorer on slower hardware...takes up more memory.

why is that a good thing? wind 7 can still play games and uses less memory

For gaming. Windows 10 seems to be better optimized, we're getting DirectX 12 & currently even on older games windows 10 gives somewhat better FPS. (Not by much mind you. But a little) I honestly also find it much better optimized & efficient and I use it for office work & my home PC.
