Valakias
Not even a week, and the founder quit the alliance. He clearly knows how to inspire trust in peoples
Covenant
So what about the reason that we in Cornerstone have been given for the split? We were told, upon inquiring, that the following conversation is why Church had been removed from leadership within Varangian Entente, and so why he then left to form Enclave. Any comment? [snip] Can confirm the rigged elections in the past. I wouldn't say he's somebody that inspires confidence in how an alliance will be ran. Bezzers
Lets talk about this picture, shall we? I would like to address the claims against BoC here. First of all, we haven't been a democracy since LF left the government, many months ago, that isn't recent. While we were still a democracy, Josh never got voted in. LF was our first and only president, josh became Vice President after an emergency vote, and then ran with LF in the elections. We did not say josh was so good that we were going to rig elections so he could stay, in fact in our final elections switching to a council of ministers, LF and Josh had no less than 3 competitors. After the council went through, it was Ivan that became the figurehead of the alliance, not Josh. Josh did get voted in after Ivan resigned a few months later, and since nobody had issues with him, a vote of no confidence was not held. As for the rigged elections, that is false information. The BoC never rigged an election. Each duo running for president and vice president made a post stating they were running, and absolutely anyone could run. People decided based on the policies and the satisfaction of their answers during the Q/A that followed the announcement of their policies and plans that were posted in an area that every single member could see. We gave weeks of notice before the voting started, and we held the votes open for 48 hours, in order to give everyone time to vote. As for influence, I can't deny that. Who would have thought that the founder of the alliance would have a lot of influence? Shocking stuff, that. This wasn't an accusation, just an explanation. Sorry Church Gourley, but thats not right. As a former BoC Member, and someone who witnessed all of it. Dis is truee. There's never really been a whole lot of competition is the BoC voting system. It would either play out as 1 person ever running for anything, or two people would run and then one person would drop out. Throwing stones in a glass house are we Church? *cough*(cause of how you were the leader of an alliance for like a gillion years.)*cough* Edited June 11, 2016 by Albgast Vulpes
