He retained the title after Yoso resumed his duties under the title of Viceroy (second in command), even though Yoso continued to function as de facto leader of the AA. This time, Yoso has formally stepped down from his governmental role and gone into retirement, meaning that Strum is now de facto as well as de jure leader of BK. So yeah, technically you're right, but in practice it is a fairly big change (although it'll make our governmental structure less confusing to non-BKers, so there's that). To be honest BK was never an anime alliance, I just had yoso agree to the name Black Knights, he did not really care I wanted the name because it was from Code Geass lol.
