Popular Post Ogaden Posted April 12, 2016 Popular Post Share Posted April 12, 2016 We've agreed to terms and have agreed to a cessation of hostilities in the current conflict of Arrgh vs UPN, DEIC and NAC. The ceasefire will take effect at midnight tomorrow. The terms are as follows: 1: Arrgh agrees that this war is entirely the fault of Arrgh 2: Arrgh admits defeat to UPN, DEIC and NAC 3: Arrgh will no longer raid UPN, DEIC, NAC, VE, Polaris, or Rose. Protectorates are off limits as well. If a raid does occur Arrgh will refund the damages/loot plus $3mil. Today a message reached Company headquarters from Batavia, stating that the venture had succeeded beyond all expectations, with the expedition commanded from the VOC Fortuyn successfully capturing the main headquarters of the pirate band known as Arrgh. While the brigands put up fierce resistance, the heroic Company marines, assisted by land and sea based artillery, as well as the overwhelming auxiliary forces of the island kingdoms of the United Purple Nations and North American Confederacy, succeeded in storming the stronghold, capturing the surviving pirates and destroying their remaining navy. Unconditional surrender was demanded, and received. The expedition is returning triumphant to Timor as we speak, and its arrival is eagerly anticipated. As word of the victory has spread, celebrations were reported throughout Company territory, and the Chairman released a statement a short time ago praising the bravery of the men of the expedition, and predicting that piracy shall no longer threaten those who sail under the great flag of the Company. "recourse"+3 mil is a lot and a year of real life time is a long time... "recourse" without interest and an agreement lasting six months maybe fairer, but whatever, winners get their choice (unless they're named durmij). ;D What I'm actually curious about this, now, is if a full-scale war is covered under this agreement as well, not just raids.
