It truly is the best space simulator.

I'm not good enough at it to land on the moon, but it's still fun to shoot stuff in space :P

The more I see what people can do in this game, the more awesome it looks.

How far into space can one explore in KSP?

The entire solar system that kerbin is located in. You can go endlessly into outer space of course, but nothing will be out there.

It's basically a a copy of our own solar system though, yeah?

Yeah essentially. They're named different, and there are less planets I believe but, essentially a replica once you get down to the basics.

The basics are easy to learn, but to master the game and be able to have enough fuel to land on a planet or moon and create a base is quite the feat.

Dont worry, everyone who has played the game has killed at least 100 kerbals. And landing on the moon or "Mun" as it is called in the game is not the hard part, the hard part is getting back alive.

Or landing versus impacting.

I had a rover's skycrane run out of fuel about 1km off the surface once. Was not pretty.

Having got a station in my current stage as I restarted my career and have no docking ports yet
