During the fall of Grillick in 183, the Roz Wei Celestial Empire's total forces amounted to just 50,000 soldiers. In 187, a mere 4 years afterwards that number had swelled ten fold to 500,000.

Sigma meanwhile, once possessing an impressive 220,000 soldiers, had dwindled to a mere 98,000 after suffering numerous large defeats at the hands of the fearsome Terminus Est and of course the famous defeat of the esurient Lyrositor by the Son of Heaven himself, which can be said to be the point Sigma became doomed.

With half of Sigma already conquered and the troops well rested, the Son of Heaven, Rozalia, saw it fit to finally bring the rest of the territory under his grasp. In Lion's Claw a mighty army of 105,000 soldiers was gathered with just that intention. It first set out to Noma, the largest of the conquered cities by Roz Wei in the battle against Lyrositor, and from there it pressed on in the direction of the Sigma capital of Menistas currently held by the supercilious Ace since Lyrositor's defeat.

Rozalia's scouts had told him that the Sigma forces were suffering from large morale issues and their men were not motivated, but regardless attacking the enemy where they want you to is not wise so he decided to draw the enemy towards him instead. Instead of heading straight for Menistas as the enemy no doubt expected the Roz Wei forces stopped to siege the fortress of Ezenko which fell in a mere 3 days, the Sigma forces in Menistas did not move. Gevkis was then sieged and it fell within 14 hours, the Sigma forces in Menistas did not move. Oraniv was next and the garrison there simply surrendered instead of resisting, the Sigma forces in Menistas did not move. Sigma forces held up in the grand fortress of Menistas began suffering numerous desertions as news of the loss of territory after territory poured in. Realising that at this rate his men would arrest him and simply surrender the fortress if he stayed held up in Menistas any longer, Ace deployed the Sigma forces, now a reduced 80,000 to save Anaketh.

Hearing of the enemy's approach Rozalia was pleased that the enemy had come to fight more on his terms instead of requiring him to siege one of the largest fortresses under Heaven in Menistas. Rozalia left Boozy McLiverdamage to continue the siege at Anaketh and deployed his forces with Darkusius commanding the left flank, James the right flank, Mayor the Vanguard, and his own personal forces were held in reserve. The Sigma forces were led by Ace himself in the centre with Akiyama Mio and Faendal being his wings. Normally such an arrayment would be resolute but Rozalia already knew both of Ace's wing's were broken.

Darkusius and Mayor advanced their respective forces forward and broke into a melee with forces under Akiyama Mio who due to their commander's listlessness began to be pushed back immediately. James held still and did not move with Faendal doing the same even after receiving numerous reports to deploy. Being an acquaintance of Rozalia he knew several delegates had been in touch with him and he hoped Faendal might be convinced to surrender, but tired of waiting he ordered James to have his archers fire a single volley upon Faendal's position to force him to make a decision. Faendal now forced and short on time decided to flee to GPA territory.

With the loss of Faendal James was able to circle round and hit the flagging Sigma forces who now under attack from 3 sides fled in the only direction left open to them... right into Rozalia's reserve troops resulting in heavy casualties to Sigma which included the death of Akiyama Mio.

Rozalia celebrated the overwhelming victory in his new fortress of Menistas. In his speech he noted that after Grillick's these were the territories he most wanted to conquer, and that one day perhaps he will bring all of GPA's other territories under his divine rule.

However not all was good, for Ace had survived and he had fled to Pantheon ruled by Rozalia's old enemy, the caitiff Don Juan. Rozalia did not know what to make of Pantheon, was it a Rose proxy state created to simply absorb GPA force's into it for the fights to come? Or did Don Juan who had shown no ambition in the past finally manifest it? Regardless of whatever reason for Pantheon's existence, it was clear they were gathering many enemies of Rozalia in Archadia.
