Following the Herald, Suffet Jax Teller takes the podium in full regal attire
For four storied years, Carthago has persevered. In that time, the Eternal City has conquered numerous obstacles. Our members have persisted through them all. We have faced countless discouragements and through our perseverance, we have conquered them. When things seemed impossible, our members showed their strong souls. As we look back fondly and remember the past four years; we continue to march steadily forward into the future.
“Permanence, perseverance, and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.”
Recently with an influx of youthful experience and new members, Carthago seeks a brighter future for us, and indeed all of Orbis. The sun of Baal Hammon shines brightly on us. We have lost some friends along the way but, we forged new strong friendships. We continue to march together as a community towards progress. Towards permanence.
Community is at the heart of what we all do here, together. It is what binds our game together. Through community we have the potential to unlock the very best of what Politics and War has to offer: lasting friendships, aid in our times of need, shoulders to cry on, and arms to raise in celebration together. Our community now celebrates its past together as we celebrate our future every day. Come celebrate with us together.
To year five!

Jax Teller sat in his pew at St. Peter's in Five Points, surrounded by his most trusted advisors and friends. The Priest had cleared the Church out for them, only the most important meetings occurred here.
For two years, Jax Teller had led and built the Dead Rabbits. These men now assembled here had helped him turn a ragtag collection of upstarts into a disciplined and dangerous gang. They had fought many global battles together, seen many a member pass from this realm to the next, and no longer were they the starry-eyed youth who had first entered this Church. Time ages all things, and no longer were they blind to the dangers and pitfalls of the world. Now seeking better means and a new way forward these men would undertake their most daring adventure yet.
The men stood and turning to the gangsters congregated before them one by one took off the badges of the Dead Rabbits. Stripped of their regalia and many of their protections they lead their people out into the world once more. As they searched, they sang:
"Where be the lands for our people to prosper and grow?
Where be the riches abundant and the lust for war rises high?
Where be there great walls to offer protection and strength to all?
I wish to see a safe harbor, a cothon for my people;
I wish to be blessed, to be buried in the Tophet;
I seek to be clothed in the crushed murex and crimson of Eshmun;
Where shall I go?"

1. I'm not on attempt 30
2. I don't care much about running an AA I just do it because I have a community I've built up, this is not an "attempt" for me.
3. I've been leading consecutively for almost 2 years, besides some breaks in between. Sure there's been change of names due to mergers and some losses/gains but shit happens
4. It's 2022, nobody brings this up anymore unless they're just having a tease (sphinx) or have no clue what they're talking about (you)
1. Sorry attempt number 29
2. Trust me, we can all tell you don't care much about running your AA
3. Indeed it does, but it happens to some people more, probably a reason
4. It's true, we don't talk about you much these days unless we're all having a tease

To be fair, if you understood the rules of FA you probably wouldn't be on attempt number 30 of running an AA

The Silk Gloves Pact
Preamble:
The Dead Rabbits and Advanced Syndicalist Mechanics (herein "the signatories") having come to the conclusion that a revolution cannot be had with silk gloves, bind themselves together under the principles of friendship and whale hunting.
Article I: Peace
The signatories agree to refrain from any act of aggression towards one another and agree to host lavish parties for the proletariat and gangsters to get down.
Article II: Intelligence
The signatories agree to share any pertinent intelligence. Intelligence that threatens the security, well-being, or reputation of either signatory is pertinent.
Article III: Aid
The signatories are encouraged to seek mutually beneficial economic relations with one another and to encourage trading between nations of either signatory.
Article IV: Defense
An act of war upon one signatory is considered an act of war on both signatories. The Dead Rabbits and the Advanced Syndicalist Mechanics commit their memberships, fortunes, and armies to the defense of one another.
Article V – Optional Aggression
In the event that a signatory requires assistance in an aggressive war against a third party, signatories are strongly encouraged but not obligated to assist the other by means of financial or military support.
Article VI – Cancellation
If either signatory feels that this treaty has been unjustly violated and resulting diplomatic negotiations have not offered an acceptable resolution, notification of withdrawal must be given to the remaining signatory within seventy-two hours. Should this treaty be voided, a forty-eight-hour cool-down period begins in which neither alliance may declare war on the other.
Signed for The Dead Rabbits,
Jax Teller, Boss
Aggeremid, Underboss
Dark Mulligan, Underboss
Alexandr Arnason, Bosun
MrGross, Bosun
Chancellor Will, Clan Chief of Foreign Affairs
Signed for Advanced Syndicalist Mechanics,
Aiya

Does this mean we can finally stop talking about mini-spheres like it was ever anything more than some illusionary pipe dream?
This game has existed within essentially a bi-polar state for years. This latest treaty only officially confirms such a reality, and renders the notion of anything different as having been nothing more than a pleasant fiction utilised as a kitchen sink justification to suit any and all intended purposes.
I'm just glad we are back to the good ol days.
tbf it is much more of a tripolarity, and if the remnants of blackwater and rosesphere can put together a decent block it might be a quadpolarity.

Event Horizon is here
in Alliance Affairs
Posted
For years a silent cult has grown within the state of Carthago in Orbis, and in skies above within Aurora. This cult, discovering the Event Horizon has devoted itself to the Event. Worshipping the impending consumption and death by the massive whole ripped into the galaxy by such an Event, the leaders of this cult have now come into the open. In a mass gathering within the Cothon Harbor, space ships from Aurora have docked and the four leaders have emerged to speak to their people, and indeed to the world at large.
The followers of Event Horizon have emerged.
In earthly realms, where rivers roar,
Horizon’s warriors march with pride untamed,
Their empire vast, forever to explore.
Beneath the skies, their gods adore,
With glyphs and chants, their destiny proclaimed,
In earthly realms, where rivers roar.
With obsidian hearts, they do implore,
To the gods of death, their strength untamed,
Their empire vast, forever to explore.
Through jungles dense, their banners soar,
In serpentine dance, their enemies maimed,
In earthly realms, where rivers roar.
To distant lands, their banners they bore,
Their legacy written, their glory acclaimed,
Their empire vast, forever to explore.
Though ages pass, their spirit, an ore,
Their legacy echoes, in lands untamed,
In earthly realms, where rivers roar,
Their empire vast, forever to explore.
