Just to avoid any future confusion regarding our diplomatic policies it should be noted that the WWF does not believe in the use of embassies on our forums. We've used them years ago in other games and have decided that for this one there isn't much of a point considering our primary place of business is over IRC. To that point, #wwf can be considered a global embassy open to the public. If you need to speak to a member of government for anything in an official capacity simply contact Chey or myself. As always we welcome anyone to participate in our community whether you're a member of our alliance or not. Just be prepared to get some ribbing if you do, as we're not for the faint of heart but if you can endure that you'll find a community of many diverse interests from sports and music to games and movies waiting for you. I agree with everything Fox Fire is saying, this "booo hoo my nation got hurt make it easier" mentality is hilarious. Here's a fact of life, sometimes bad things will happen and it's best to pick up where you leave off rather then shut down with every tragedy. In (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways) I was Zi'd multiple times over the years, did it stop me? No. Did I have a large nation? Was ranked in the #160's range when I decided to leave. Wars only break you if you have a !@#$ alliance with little foresight... I don't have an iota of sympathy for those groups or anyone else complaining about losing pixels. This is a game that's played over months, not days. If you wanna play a game without any consequences go play Candy Crush or something.

I don't really have a dog in this fight but all I'll say is this has been thoroughly entertaining to watch.

I only just got this game this past sale but I'd be cool to come around sometime... not sure how many of my alliance mates have it but maybe we'll get our own little thing going. Should be fun!

Who cares if an alliance chooses to be small and elite or a mass member group? It's not the admins job to determine what types of alliances exist nor anyone else. Alliances should be free to determine their own makeup without any incentive or disincentive in favor of being large or small in membership. All this proposed change offers is a disincentive to be a mass member group. And for what? So FSA an irrelevant backwater can't benefit from their game abuses as easily? Sorry but I don't see FSA as enough of a problem warranting drastically altering future alliances and if you or anyone else really has such a huge problem with FSA I have a solution it's called attacking FSA not lobbying for game wide changes. This whole situation reeks of BoC's spying complaints which resulted in some mechanic changes it's just annoying to have the game constantly being fidgeted with every time some minor thing happens that a few people dislike.

Not really a fan of this either because like before I feel like it's trying to solve an issue that doesn't exist and in the process is creating needless penalties for players & alliances. Inactive nations paying alliance taxes for 30 days makes very little difference in the grand scheme of things and eliminating that income only really serves to punish the alliances willing to take the risk to invest in these players by taking them into their AA in the first place. By adopting this sort of system it would in effect serve to punish alliances that actively recruit which would mean we'd have even less incentive to recruit new people to the game as it'd just be a waste of time for very little benefit. Overall I feel like these recent proposals seem to be creating anti-alliance waves for absolutely little reason at all; as the saying goes down south if it ain't broke then don't fix it and in the case of alliances nothing related to them is broken at all and needing mechanical assistance. Alliances are independent communities that can manage their own affairs without need of assistance from game mechanics.

Auto kicking members from alliances after a set amount of time is going to make this game very unpopular very fast. I honestly don't see what would be gained from it in the slightest. If alliances want to have 100 members sitting on an AA paying taxes then that's their business, not yours. If other alliances have a problem with it they can take action on their own via declarations of war. I can't help but feel like this idea is horribly misguided thinking meant to solve a problem that doesn't really exist. "Fake scores" and inflation from it is absoultely meaningless; nobody cares about "score" beyond the people who play this game for stats (GPA) but for everyone else it's the politics that matter and that's completely independent from scores. All this proposal is asking for is to make a new requirement to log in to avoid being booted out and raided which is silly. I know I specifically got Chey and most other members of my AA interested in the game because it doesn't require a daily login to collect taxes and pay bills and really only needs minimal investment to see their nations flourish which is a huge benefit because it allow for casual play it instead of demanding some unhealthy devotion to a text based poly sim. Not everyone who plays these games wants to check on it every single day or week.
