  1. Oh what a lot of long winded twaddle. Pixels are bought to be burnt, it is just a matter of when! Now is as good a time as any as far as I’m concerned ⚔️
  2. Theme song 👎 (a few marks for effort though I guess) Sphere name withheld 👍
  3. This whole issue appears to be an over-scrupulous application of a rule. I can see how the rule may be interpreted as such, but the reasons as to 'why' are quite beyond me. Having said that, I don't think more rules or detailed stipulations are the answer, rather the opposite in fact. I think retaining the ability to control the outcome of wars, be it to lose or win, is important (excluding slot filling in the normal sense of course). Laughed at this too: "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting." - Sun Tzu
  4. There is hope for Orbis after all ❤️
  5. Who’s trolling?? Also have you peaced out yet? You’re still moaning so I guess not…
  6. Where has @Dwight k Schrute gone?? Have you had enough??
  7. Less derailed, more devolved IMO Is name calling all you’ve got?? I thought better off you tbh. To buy into the fearmongery is one thing, to then post and contribute literally nothing is quite another.
  8. With your two examples possibly not. The fact that I didn’t notice while being in a sphere not involved probably means they don’t qualify per the criteria I’ve suggested. Though tbh my personally awareness would hardly be a good yardstick in this context.
  9. Solid growth trajectory!! Watch out Orbis, and good luck USN the 2nd
  10. Hello mate, it is good to see you in your element! fixed for you!
  11. Here is your answer gents:
  12. If future hypotheticals is what we end up levelling at each other, there’s very little point in me responding 😂 I’ve no crystal ball, nor will I speak out of turn. Right now we are at peace, have been quite clear about our intentions and are not trying to tell anyone what to do. Can you say the same?
  13. I agree! To my knowledge (as a non-gov member) there is no intent to have a negative/hegemonic affect on the game from either HW or Celestial. I believe, and without making any sort of value judgement about it, that the extent of the backlash to this move has been surprising for everyone.
  14. Just because you say someone said something, doesn't mean they did. Anyway, if it isn't in a public space I won't know about it. I don't engage in, nor am invited to private chit chats. Neither do I spend my hours cruising discord looking for or manipulating poorly thought out comments to screen shot and throw at people later. Plus why are you even bringing that stupid NAP nonsense into this?? It is generally a pretty weak approach to only ever reference private discussions, and as far as I can see that is all you've got. There's been some pretty deep dives into history on this issue, and all completely unwarranted IMO.
  15. I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill here. As far as I can see both HW and Celestial are still perfectly ok with the idea of chaining. We just didn't want it to happen to us, so steps were taken. I have not seen anyone call Clock out for chaining wars as a terribly negative thing beyond the point that it left us with a degree of uncertainty about their future intentions. Nobody is saying it is bad to chain wars. Clearly the pertinent questions surround the evidence and/or justification for clause 3. As far as doing anything about it, no-one need do anything which is made clear within the demilitarization agreement. I guess I can see how you've constructed this climate of fear about the future in light of this agreement. However I guess much like you believe we are unjustified to insert clause 3, I believe you are unjustified to believe that this arrangement is some sort of game breaking event. You're basically just catastrophizing for your own reasons. Finally, I do not see any of us laughing at the rest of the game not being able to do anything about this extremely time limited and specific arrangement. There may be a bit of banter aimed back at you given the vitriol that has come our way, but the sort of derision from us you're suggesting is non-existent as far as I've seen. Perhaps it is time to let your hard-on for this issue go for a little bit as it has clearly derailed your ability to reason. It is not like HW and/or Celestial have started a war and trying to tell everyone else how to play unlike what is coming towards us.
  16. Another perspective of course is that the OWF’s reputation system is a good way of proving there’s a lot of sheep here! It is not an inconsiderable point though whichever way you look at it. I mean people are duped every day by prevailing opinions. Truth or accuracy in the PR war seems to be less important than the outcome’s being aimed for.
  17. Nothing wrong with chaining wars, and nothing wrong with dodging the bullet if you're so inclined. I don't think anyone's making an argument against the practice in general.
  18. That radio voice procedure is atrocious; sounds like a bunch of amateurs playing a computer game or something!

  20. Nice to see the effort you've put into your post Personally I kind of disagree though, and though you've stipulated that you're referring to problems experienced in the low-mid tier, I believe the experience is across all tiers. Sam Cooper definitely has it right there being a cost to everything. Rebuilding a c25+ to prewar infra levels usually costs well over $500,000,000 and over a billion in the whale tiers. Also it is very much the rare outliers in the higher tiers who sell down infra in war time to the sort of low levels you're talking about, and you don't recoup much money invested in infra when you sell it off. Further to that, while at such low infra the negative revenue is problematic. Dealing with up-declares is also a problem and usually beyond the capacity of your double buy to manage if you are facing competent opponents and you've no one able to help. Pirates presumably face these issues as a fundamental part of their choice of play style, and on that point who are we to dictate play styles in a sandbox game like this? This place would be that much more boring without pirates on a few different levels. Basically I think you are over-egging the problem quite a bit, as frustrating as it might be on occasion. As an aside, it is not that I'm against tweaks to the war system including scores, but little and often is the key. I take from your suggestion to be a fairly major alteration to the war mechanics which I think would be potentially disastrous.
  21. Who needs labels?? For the hell of it, I'm rooting for the underdog.......come on TBG, you got this!!
  22. Goodbye! Sad to see you go. Good luck in future 😊
  23. I too do not think it is a bad thing! But the other side of the coin is that avoiding being the 2nd/3rd etc target in chained wars is equally not bad 👍🏼
  24. I like this clock because it’s the daddy of all clocks!
  25. Again, not a treaty, but I get your point. And yes this is a weird situation given our history, which I think pragmatism has perhaps played a bigger part in this decision rather than our feelings for each other 😂
