Wouldn't it have been better to do this diplomatically especially when your war chests will just dry up quickly and you'll be gone within a couple turns after that (if you even have war chests).

After seeing this post made it came to my attention that new players aren’t aware of the power that heir gives. I suggest Alex adds a warning pop-up when you give someone heir. This will benefit alliances ran by new players.
